That's exactly my problem with a 2008 Hilux SW4 3.0 D4-D 16V (named Toyota Fortuner). The problem does not arise at high speeds with the rail under pressure but the engine at high speeds, the defect is only present at low speeds. I traveled 4000 km on a trip without having presented a single time. The SCV only has the different code 294200-0300. Thanks for sharing.
Dear sir..thank you for making this video..I appreciate your efforts and I have the same problem...i was having fuel economy issue too..u have helped me solve it...
I have encountered the same problem with my mitsubishi Triton 2008 3.2L. The warning lamp is lit and sometimes there is no power specially when climbing steep hills. I resort to cleaning air and fuel filters, EGR manifold and even removed the catalytic converter. Still the problem persists. Will check or replace the suction valve. Thanks of the tip!!
Did you get this solved? I have the same model and year Triton, been having the very same problem. Did full service and even replaced injectors. Problem went abd returned...
Bro i just bought 2011 pajero sport gs, i think im having a problem with the fuel consumption, my full tank barely made 400km on normal driving, do you have some.pointers, i already took to mitsubishi servis center, but i think the problem remains
Your issue aside which city is this filmed driving are awful in rain wet conditions safe distance not applied no one giving way to merging traffic and motorcycles are all over the road and emergency lane on left I thought it was for police and ambos only

Having the same issue. Did it really fix it?
It already a few months now after I changed the SCV, so far the car perform great :-) ... pretty much that proved the root cause came for SCV ....
How much it cost for replacing the SCV
If I convert into US dollar, the part and the installation cost me about USD250 ...
Buy tge scv and replace it yourself it's 2 bolts only
