Why didn’t you just mount the engine sideways and make a drive shaft from to the sprocket to the original mini truck rear end? Seems like your making way more work and less reliable with chain drive.
Diablo is garbage i got a bunch of sawsall blades for thick steel and all the teeth broke off on basic low carbon thin steel and there customer support is no help and they hate replacing defective stuff they will just stop talking to you 😂

It would have grenaded that rear end and been too high geared as well. Less adjustability
