there is a reason why you are falling asleep: the Korg Kronos is far too complicated, too many pages, too many things to press and set...I have this keyboard as well as several other notables, and on all the rest, things like this are far easier to do....the page screens on the Korg are tiny and too numerous, containing way more information than should be viewed, especially at that tiny size. A shame, since the sound engine itself on the Kronos is a thing of beauty....but they REALLY have to go to work making a more friendly user interface.
i recorded a bass track. Now I want to play it back but play piano over it. pretty basic right? Cant figure it out. tutorials tell me how to construct a clock - I just want to know what time it is.
I was clearly awake knowing i can sample all my vsti plugins/other hardware synths and play all sounds i ever wanted in one Kronos. Put in 2 ssd drives and 2 tumb drives internally/3th external (yes you can) and upgrade your RAM to have about 1,5 TB high speed disk space and extra memory in your Kronos. HD-1 engine for sample manipulation and onboard FX.. This will make it into an insane powerhouse with barely any limitations.
Can someone help to clear my question up please regarding sampling/samples. When I create a sample, I have to rename the multi sample, This is the question, should the name of the multisample be the heading of maybe the song you want to create, and the samples you create within that multisample are used maybe for a particular song…. Or is the multisample more of a user bank name for example, My 80s Music so this is where you would maybe store all samples to with 80s, Then maybe you would have another Multisample named electro music, and within this this is where you would store all your electronic sounds. I found it confusing when I click on multisample and sample and see all the samples I’ve made. I thought Renaming multisample would be like a sub directory . Any help would be great full. Thanks.
Hi, I am trying to send a signal to my audio interface via the Optical output, any suggestions to why there is no audio output/signal? would be much appreciated.
Seems Korg doesn't answers questions on any of these manual series videos, so this question is for anyone else that knows it... For the "Sample Edit" and "Loop Edit" page, is there any way to scrub through the sampled waveform? Specifically I'm wanting to find where to end my waveform with as little guess work. Finding a start point is a tiny bit of guess work, although very easy. However, finding an end point in a little more complicated waveform has me having to listen to the whole waveform (or at least wherever I add the start point) in order to get to the end point. Thanks.
I'm doing the same thing as instructed but two things are not working: One, I don't hear a sound unless I first change Input 1 under Bus Select in Global Mode to L/R. Two, the Kronos is not recording anything when I press seq/start/stop. My track 1 shows "rec" the whole time before and after recording.
hey Korg! I am interested in this synth a lot One thing I was wondering , which is probably obvious,...can I load a wav. or aiff via a usb flash stick or usb drive and then edit it on the Kronos and assign and key map it across the synth ... or whatever? Thanks in advance. Nb ... did I say it’s a great synth!
Does ANYONE know how to restore the TEMP folder that I deleted?? I can't find the answer anywhere, lol...losing sleep! Why would the entire folder disappear, when I just wanted to delete uneeded WAV files??
created a great bass sample and a combi sample reversed . no space to save it therefore cannot use it? WTF millions of spaces for samples but nowhere to put them if you convert to a program . finding this very unuasable. i am sure someone will tell me i am being a bit thick.
I have one and he's right. my old Trinity (which was new at the time) was a breeze and easy to use. this kronos takes 3 hours to go around your ass to get your thumb. I need to go back to the simplicity of the start/run switches and 9 drawbars on my old A100.
I’ve fallen asleep twice watching these videos. I’m not even lying .

Thank you for the number of well produced tutorials, thumbs up and subscribed.
I want one of these Kronos they are amazing
Sampling that guitar at the end just blew my mind!!!
Glad to see this video. Also would like to learn if you can assign a sample sound you made
to a key somewhere across the keyboard.

Video would be nice for doing things like can be done with samples on the Roland BK-9
and do them on the Kronos if possible.
Thanx for the subtitles... 😒😒

REVERB OF ALL SOUNDS ARE GONE WHEN I PRESS SEQ BUTTON ...WHY ?

needs more cowbell
I tried exactly what is told in this video.... Doesn't work... WTF
I have heard that the Kronos hates Muslims too.
is it possible to reduce noise, to compress, and equalize the sound on this instrument, similar to audacity software?
yes

I like cheeseburgers.
great full guitar sound with only 3 strings? lol
I guess flying a space ship is much easier than this crap
You're not worthy to even get close to one of these if you feel that way

@@chieftp just stay away bro
make me bitch
chieftp The Trinity was just a ROMpler. The Kronos is 9 synthesisers in one plus everything else it does. There’s no way to make it as simple.
