Beautiful awesome cards!!! Love them!!! I have done, mixed media, that's the only art I really enjoy, just love it!!!! It makes me so happy, and what I enjoy most, is how much others enjoy looking at it and recieving it!!! Mixed media has opened up a whole new world for me.... Thank you so much for sharing!!!! 💚❤💚 I'm from the US, and live in Boise, Idaho!!! 👍
I love these prints! I have not stepped into the world of mixed media, but I have to say that the more I see of gel printing, the more I think I want to expand my horizons. :D USA
I have just started to play with mixed media. I love playing with the he'll is plate. It is so much fun.. Really like watching you and what you do. U.S.
Ingrid, so happy you are participating in this hop, gell printing, this is a first for me. Your monoprints are stunning. Thanks so much for sharing, explaining and inspiring, from TX, USA.
I have never done jelly plate printing but will have to try it sometime. My favorite thing is when you put the stencil on the jelly plate and then put the paper on it.....I love the way it came out. I also love the other stencil technique where you actually stenciled the reindeer and used that. So many possibilities!!! Beautiful cards :) Hugs...Janie (in the US)
After watching yours, and some of the previous mixed media videos in this hop....it turns out I have done it, I just didn't know it had a name! There you go! You literally do learn something new every day!!! I have never used a gel plate, and I see from the comment below that you can actually make them....well I might just have a go at it!!! Thanks for sharing.....Australia.
Hi Ingrid :) You were definitely having fun! That is the point most of the time LOL I have dabbled but not immersed myself YET...only waiting until all of my supplies are out of bins lol. I had to move my craft space, so my living room and dining room will be my creative space! LOL Gotta love this husband! He says it perfectly great :) So...soon I will break out my Gelli plate and have fun too :) *** USA ***
Thank you, I loved this. I'm so inspired to try a gel plate now. I'm loving this craft hop. Such a brilliant idea. I would never have got interested in crafting if I hadn't watched crafters so generously sharing their knowledge on UA-cam. So if I can support this project in any way it makes me really happy. I'm a real beginner so I appreciate all the tips & ideas so much & you make it really enjoyable & fun to watch. I don't have much confidence in myself at the moment so thank you for that. I've subscribed & I'm very excited to see more. Wishing you all the best from Joo in the UK.
This gives me memories of our Gel Press session last month :) Can't wait to see you in January. I appreciate everything you have done for the Save the Crafty UA-camr Video Hop. You are simply the best! (Cue Tina Turner).
I love how you used 2 gel presses!! You explain everything so well in your video. I've dabbled in mixed media - mainly paints, inks and stencils. Great cards! International
I love your cards, and I enjoyed your video. I have had a Gelli Plate for a couple of years, and I'm still trying to get my courage up to use it. lol. In response to your question on the video, I have done a little mixed media--embossing paste and stencils; embossing, torching (with a candle), or stamping on metal. Once I did a swap where we made mixed-media projects, 4-inch squares of heavy watercolor paper. I had them spread out on my kitchen table for days and tried to use all the techniques I learned in a video that was using a huge canvas. I played with acrylics, tin foil, cheesecloth, etc. I had a blast. Thank you for your video and for sharing your wonderful cards.
Oh what fun and festive cards - gorgeous! I just love watching the mono print process, so cool to see the results. I love your excitement for the process. I have played with mixed media and love the unexpected nature of it. Plus you just really get your hands dirty - so fun. USA
Ingrid, I am Wowed by your cards! I'm fascinated by what you can create with geli plates. I'm so tempted to get one & just have fun, but I don't know if I am creative enough in my thinking outside the box like you are. I have always liked the look of mixed media, but have usually seen it applied to canvases, so I thank you heaps for showing another way to use it making cards. I'm an international viewer. Thanks again!
US. Great gelli prints! I love the idea of intentional stenciling on gelli plates!!! I am going to be doing that soon! Mixed media is my favorite! I have my own UA-cam channel where I do a lot of experimenting like painting with pigmented coffee, or mashing berries/blooms/leaves and painting with their pigment, making ATC's and so much more. Love your video and cards so much that I am sharing on my FB group page, Roberta's Artistic Adventures!
Hello Ingrid, I have been subscribed to your channel for a time now, but have never done mixed media. I so enjoyed watching you do your gel press today and learned a lot. Thank you for sharing and inspiring! Look forward to your future posts. God bless from the USA. Diana O
