I played hundreds of hours of this game when I was a kid with my friends. Such an awesome game with so much content.
Out of all the games out there, Legends and Dark Legacy deserve a remaster

they don't deserve a remaster. remastered games are not the same as the original , the graphics may improve but they will never have the gameplay and sensation these games gave us . remasters are overrated
I've only played maybe 4 of the gauntlet games, including this one, and this one was just so sweet! The levels, heroes, enemies, and the awesome music are just too notch. Always will be a classic in my collection of video games. 💯
The music from Skorne temple level right before you fight him to look for the soul savior, is EPIC!

Not gonna lie, This game and Gauntlet Legends both are underrated game. This game doesn't deserve to be low score from metacritic at all. Not many people talk about this game and this game is awesome especially playing with people.
I played this once on an arcade cabinet at a birthday party in 5th grade. I loved it. If I knew it came out for console back then, I'd have got a copy.

My mom and I used to play this all the time when I was younger. It's such a good game! I plan on buying a ps2 to play this again soon. I had the Forsaken Province Saloon music as my ring tone on my iPhone 13 Pro Max when I got at launch and now I have it on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I love the saloon music in that level!!! It's my favorite. I can listen to that for hours straight. ❤

Garm just wanted to play ball but his brother was too busy, so he summoned a demon to play with. Garm accidentally broke a window and when Sumner came to see what happened, Garm blamed the demon. The demon didn’t appreciate that, so he imprisoned Garm and made off with Sumner’s nice rock collection. He also hexed the broken window because he was kind of a jackass anyway.
It's a shame when watching somebody play a game is more interesting than watching TV.... Long live Long Play... Never played this game😢 only had the promo
Was it ever explained why the Spider Queen gave out more experience than any other boss in the game? I remember fighting that boss more than anything else with my friends because of how fast we would level up afterwards.

She was definitely a tough boss. That's for sure. But I agree, I think it was a glitch. That's why you always gained more experience and leveled up so much faster.

Gauntlet was one of the first roguelike games, Having new power ups and new mechanics from previous games and Gauntlet: Legends.
Wow its gauntlet legends with better graphics and extra realms basically
couple extra combat moves, has combos for melee hits and if you have another person there are team turbos unique to each character. Warrior turns partner into a flaming bowling ball. Play the gamecube or xbox versions if you like having the inventory, PS2 version has no way to turn off items for later use.

Kinda cool, i'm a fan of this series if I have a friend to play with. I like the anouncer! I always pick female mage, I didn't know all the classes throw projectiles, makes me wonder if there is a difference. Go for looks, that's my strategy.

I don't know if these things were showcased, as I've only watched up to the completion of the Mausoleum level upon posting this, but if you lack a Halo or any magic, or just want to save the latter, you can eliminate Deaths with 100 strikes as well.
You can also start this or use Magic while they're still in statue form, as well.
They need to remaster and remake this awesome game! Especially the Valkyrie and Sorceress!

PCSX2 runs it, and you can run it off the disc if you still have it. Ideally just rip the disc into an iso file.

around 13-20 hours of couch co-op fun, just make sure you pick a faster character so you can steal all the loot. Warrior has a fast turbo to snipe kills.
