The weekend after the funeral I was extremely sad but decided to stick with our already made plans so me and my cousin went to the weekender at the gorge and I saw these guys live for the first time. On the flight home I decided to download this anjunadeep album because I loved their set so much(I was there mostly for Tinlicker, Yotto, and AB&B tbh) and I can tell you it's been a go to album just to keep me sane in what's really going on in my life. Had seen Jody in Mumbai (along with Nick Warren - Way Out West). It was a tiny crowd and I've never seen a DJ have so many beers on stage while mixing. I mean Jody was just flying high. We got some insane pics with him later! I'll try and share them here.
Brilliant. Been home with my dog dancing barefoot in the garden, a beautiful day full of laughter, fresh air, an occasional gentle rain, a cocktail or three, and this set as the soundtrack. I'm not sure how many times it has repeated, I'm actually not even sure how it got started, but Maggie my dog, the garden and plants, myself, and my thoroughly amused neighbors, we all thank you.
Anjunadeep has gotten me thru so much comprehension and understanding of life’s journeys thru auditory therapy throughout the past 12-15 years. Thankful the world has such incredible artists creating amazing and inspiring soundscapes
