I would argue that James Grant is one of the most underrated DJ's of the era. His mixes are so well thought out in terms of mood, key, melody, harmony. Seems like he has a solid background of musicianship at his disposal. I can't get enough of his work.

I must have missed this one when it was released, but listening now in April of 2023, I think this is about when the sound peaked. Everyone has moved a bit away from the deeper, more psychedelic sounds and into a lighter, poppier feel since the pandemic ended. THIS is the sound I prefer and James has produced an absolutely mesmerizing set of it here. It's perfect from first to last track, just like you'd expect from Mr. A&R!

I consider myself lucky to be able to listen to such Quality Music and Mixes. I'm totally turned on and tuned in. This is my first one. I listened to other Anjunadeep Sessions, but I keep coming back to this one. It's so beautiful. Thank you. I have also been promoting and Sharing this beautiful Music with other people I know and meet. Since Anjunadeep found me this past weekend, I haven't listened to any other music, just Anjunadeep!

Trance went off the burner for me around 2001-2003ish....the biscuits weren't as good anymore. The trance lost its way a little, became a little too commercial for my taste as i was an old head raver. This new stuff reminds me of that softer more melodic euphoric trance sound that Chicane used to put out late 90s...its super fluffy & full of beautiful depth!!!! These guys get it for sure! So refreshing❤🎉❤🎉❤
My emotion: If I could fly, I'd spread my wings, feel the wind beneath them and listen. But I can't. So I lay down, close my eyes, listen and feel this absolutely amazing, wonderful, outrageous perfect Edition and imagine I could fly! James Grant...the heart and soul of Anjunadeep! But...question...why is this edition only 2 hrs long??? JK😂

Idk about that Tim, Deep still has plenty of that sound you're after. I went to the show in London yesterday, and it was not pop-sounding AT ALL
