La Bien Assise campsite, Guînes, France

Located around 16km from Calais, La Bien Assise is a great place to start a continental visit or finish it. However, it is also worth a longer stay in its own right with a variety of interesting places nearby including the town of Guînes and its Clock Tower Museum, the town or Ardres, Village Saint Jacques and a number of locations nearby related to WW2.
Located in the village of Guînes, the site has a great deal of facilities including swimming pool, exercise equipment, television room, restaurant serving local specialities as well as a bar serving fast food.
La Bien Assise is operated by Les Castels group which runs around fifty campsites in France.

Hi,
We stopped as an overnight there a couple of years ago. It is certainly not quiet in the summer months! It is VERY popular with the English and it felt to us that we could be in Kent rather than Northern France!
We have used many 'Castels' sites throughout France and they all tend to be 4/5 star rated

Thanks Alan!!. You have to put volume up to hear you talking on your videos. When you wear headphones that song sounds so loud. You can have heart attack when you half asleep lol.
