I have been an admirer of John Reischman’s work since the time he was with the Good Ol’ Persons. To this day, he is still my favourite mandolin player, combining tasteful playing with incredible tone. The fact that he is willing to forego playing a barrage of notes for the sake of making a song more musical is a testament to his mastery of his instrument.
Very nice! Is Chris's mandolin a Kimble? Can't quite read it. If so I think I was in Will's shop the day he was making the fret board for that mandolin?

Beautiful, BC so lucky John chose it as home.
Met him when the Good Old Persons came to Victoria, waay back when.
I was lucky enough to sit in with the GOP at a gig when I first met them in 1989 in San Francisco. John was great to me, as was Kathy.
