It was June and the Mountain passes in Colorado had just opened up a few days before this. With there being no moon, I headed up there to catch the Milky Way against that really great looking white of the snow. It got below freezing that night, but it was worth to capture this footage of the Milky Way and a few cars as the were flying by.

That was so beautiful! You captured it perfectly!!
Wow! That is just so incredible and beautiful!
Thanks!
Magnificent, spectacular!
Thanks so much Doc!
So Cool! Thanks for sharing!
Awe! Thanks you guys, I appreciate it! It was fun being up there in the snow.
Brilliant. Will the Milky Way be visible at this spot in late Sep-early Oct?
Thanks Murali, I am glad you like this. It will be visible, though it will have to be shot from more to the left then where I stood for this. The best angle is earlier in the summer, but it's still doable. Also remember by then, when it gets dark enough to see the Milky Way, it will already be pretty high up and close to vertical.
Really amazing - great length and pacing. What length subexposures did you use on this timelapse?
Thanks Mike! It was at ISO1600, 20 secs and f1.8 on the Nikon D850 and Sigma 14mm f1.8 lens.
