Oh no, buff builds like mega clover and bloodthorn keep beating you. If only there were a way to deny your opponent buffs... That would really put a cap on their damage and discomfort them. If only you could maybe upgrade your gear to take lower damage for longer during the initial battle phase. GG
I still love the good ol' poison bomb dark saber build, but it's so hard to hit now with all the new items in the game. These new variants seem cool too though
Snek is just terrible imo... The interaction with stone armor is the only redeeming thing about it.. (which goes for the stone armour as well) I think dark sabre, maybe king goob, 2 more toads and a mana thirst could be good? Also in general I think keeping 2 garlic saves you from the vamp builds (or a discount dark heart lategame)
I'd recommend trying Serpent Staff on Reaper. Eats mana for toads while scaling damage, positive synergy with lamp, and gets the best of both worlds (upfront damage and poison damage). It also takes a lot less space than alternative poison builds, allowing one to focus on defense or utility. I usually end up getting around 70-100 poison, but I've got a weapon that's also slapping for 70-100. It works well with every Reaper class item, in different ways. Dagger can get to crit cap which means doubled poison stacks. Lock Lifter just works well with scaling damage weapons. Snake gives poison removal protection. Struggles gives Miss Fortune for heat stack. Cauldron is decent mana and allows for demonic flask bombs.
@@soxic-y8e Snake works best against enemies that frontload their damage, as long as you can get multiple toads. That extra health is no joke. I've found struggles adds enough dark items to make corrupted armor consistently reach 100% debuff protection. Between the defensive utility of Mrs Struggles and Corrupted Armor's debuff transfer, it ends up kneecapping a lot of builds assuming you can get a good heat stack started.
way too much - i dont agree at all. you hit 2 poison goobs - which you dont hit every game, and your def is pretty good. and you barely survived with 1 life. i like the buff, think its appropriate. but not too much imo.
17:50 Glowing crown used to be 2.5 seconds. 2.4 seconds is the fastest it has ever been. You may be thinking of Djinn Lamp for its 2 second cooldown.
looking cute as usual
Are u 2 dating?

Anytime ben puts out a video, I work on counter builds because I know everyone is going to be trying this.
Ah, the classic. Nice video.
I love how going through the history of Ben talking about Reaper, they either are too strong, or they're completely ignored and left trashy.

serpent staff is definitely the way to go, i liked it with snake the best to protect the poison
