    Great to hear you've included Canada for the giveaway! Great video! Hope I'm not too late! Been thinking about getting this and comparing it to my mobapad m6s!

      You're in! Unfortunately, I was never contacted by Mobapad and at this point, I'm not going out of my way to buy more joycons but if ever they reach out, I'd love to review their product. From what I've seen, they are pretty much neck and neck but I'll say this much, the Phantom from COIORVIS is definitely good enough to convince me that I never need to look elsewhere for joycons, that's how good they are. Cheers and good luck!

      I wasn’t sure at first but mechanical buttons have kind of grown on me lately. I totally get where you’re coming from though!

      'sup? My pleasure really! Hmm.. Pretty sure it says "ship worldwide" on their website but I think the price is a bit better on AliExpress if that is an option. Cheers!

    Do you know what the first third-party controller is that has HD rumble. It’s called the mobapad m9 HD and the other controller. It’s another mobapad controller, called the chitzu hd

      Yeah. I tried to reach out to them once but I didn't hear back. A lot of people asked that I review them but I'm past buying new joycons at this point so if they reach out good, if they don't, all good.

    Do these work on PC?

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  Місяць тому +1

      They do yes, they get recognized as joy-con (l) and joy-con (r) exactly like originals and I can go on gamepadtester and have them vibrate and be tested. I even polled them, 125hz with 70% stability, seems about on-par with Nintendo's original joycons. I hope this helps, cheers!

      It’s pretty clear that the Mobapad should be the main contender and vice versa but I do not have them at this point in time so I wouldn’t know, sorry. However, the channel 128kb seems pretty fond of them. Cheers!

    I apprecaited the time you took to describe the controller; ESPECIALLY THE DPAD. The other videos out there that gloss over this in their review of the dpad and then proceed to say why THE MOBAPAD is such an excellent controller by comparison. I bought the Mobapad based on those reveiws and was very dissapointed. While I loved the mechanical buttons on that one; the DPAD was absolutely garbage, no matter if you used the octogonal pad or traditional dpad attachment. I like how this the Coiorivis seems to be smaller and closer to the joycon in size so that the Switch can still be more compact; but I am still not sure. As long as I can do dragon punches and fireballs in Street Figther; I would be fine with these. I see you were a guile player; but how is it for dragon punches and hadokens?

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  3 місяці тому

      Oh no no no ahahahha! I was a Guile player when I was 7 years old, now I'm very much Ryu, Ken, Akuma, these guys! 😅 I picked Guile because he's a pain to pull moves especially if the d-pad isn't good. This way, people who know, like you, know that this d-pad is quite solid. I'd say Hadoukens were pretty much 95% rate on this. Dragon punches about 85%. And moreover, this d-pad doesn't scrape thumbs.
      If ever you do get a set, let me know how you feel about it because though it isn't the best d-pad ever, it's a very robust one, upper-half echelon for sure. Thanks for the kind words! 😊

      @@GameTechTalk Thanks for the even more detailed reply! I definetly have a better idea now after your explanation! I am still on the fence about these; because I don't want to buy more joycon replacements if they are not going to attach to the next Switch; and while the wirless capablities may work on it; I doubt they will attach if the screen is 8 inches and if the rumours of a magnetic lock mechanism are true. Wish these things came out sooner and before I wasted money on the Mobapad; otherwise this Coiorvus Phantom; would have been my first choice.
