    Friedrich Nietzsche was a man of many sayings on diverse aspects of life. He hated women and described the creation of women as God's second blunder. He also declaimed that God was dead. But the best of his quotes is the following :"That which does not kill you only makes you stronger".

      I think you would hate women if you had been given a dose of madness from a painted lady. 😮

      I don't like this last quote. What doesn't kill you leaves you with scars, not necessarily stronger.

    This is an extremely valuable documentary and should be studied thoroughly by policymakers especially Trump.

    Philosophy always seemed like people with differing opinions arguing about things they will never be able to prove

    Socrates, Plato , they are one of my favorites Philosophers.
    I know that I know nothing: True Wisdom, Humble, to be open to learn, to be open to knowledge, what is the ultímate truth?
    The One who has the knowledge, has the power. In my perspective, in a Methaphorical point of view: Divine knowledge, Divine Wisdom. Higher illumination of the Soul.
    I dont think Socrates needs to be name as the best philosopher or give any tittle, degree: Time did it, and he will remain in time. We can call it: Divine Justice. Beautiful souls, beautiful legacy, beautiful minds remains in time.❤

    1:03:24 The video mentions Socrates' ideas influencing early Christian theology. With such profound contributions to ethics and morality, do you think his teachings still hold the same relevance in modern society, or have we moved past his philosophies?

      Socrates - Yes ! KKKhristians - No.

    • @gbass11
      @gbass11 14 днів тому

      Maybe not the same relevance, but we definitely have not moved past it. Beside the Bible, the Republic is arguably one of the most influential books on Western culture. Granted that was written by Plato, but Socrates is a key interlocutor in that dialogue

    I was wondering but can you do a video or a series on Thaddeus Stevens and I am asking because he is an interesting and important person and like he was a kind of man who we would need today and like back in his days he was ahead of his time and he is important because back in his days he was a fierce opponent of slavery and discrimination against black Americans and he sought to secure their rights during the reconstruction and he led the opposition against Andrew Johnson however he is mostly important because during the Civil War he focused his attention on defeating the confederacy, financing the war with new taxes and borrowing, crushing the power of Slave owners, ending slavery and of most importance securing equal rights for the freedmen.
