  • I create my images in-camera but that doesn't mean that they don't need any post processing. Although most magic will happen while shooting the macro pictures they mostly need some minor adjustments. The post processing I perform is mostly limited to adding contrast correcting color and dodging and burning certain areas to make the images more alive.
In the flower art photography masterclass We try to create dreamy painterly images, mainly through camera techniques such as selective focus, the shooting through technique where we blend the background and foreground into a wonderful bokeh.

Another great tutorial. your post processing technique was was simple and elegant. I wasn't expecting a processing tutorial however, I'm very happy that you did this. It was very educational for me as I'm sure it was for many of your subscribers.

Glad it was helpful! Post processing is part of the game. For me in-camera doesn't mean that you don't do any post processing. Post processing's always involved, you can choose to let the camera software decide how to do it or you can take it in your own hands.

The first picture is actually better before than after ;) But the rest of them are cool :)
