@Work Smart - dried herbs are usually clean, but if yours aren’t clean, it’s best to use just a dry towel to wipe them - if you soak them in water, they won’t be dried completely and you’ll run the risk of having “things” growing in your oil. Thanks for watching!💚

7-9 days. There are many ways to make infused oil, but I've found that low, constant heat (around 106 degrees) over a long period of time is the best way to extract all the good properties from herbs. I just unplug the crockpot when I have to leave the house. Thanks for watching! 💚
Angela Frontin- if you have a lot of sunshine where u are, put the lid on the jar & put it in the sun (perhaps on a sunny window sill) for 2-4 weeks. If no sunshine, use the rice cooker (don’t close the lid) or a regular pot with water on very low heat for a few hours everyday - put a folded dishcloth or wash cloth in the bottom of the pot before u put the jar in - this is a buffer to protect the jar from breaking.
