    Great video and explanation. I started doing my twist out on clean next day dry hair and it makes a huge difference. More length, moisture, and volume. My hair lasted nine days this week. It could’ve kept going but I had slight build up. Great tips though!

    A-ma-zing video!! So much good info. Your hair came out so pretty! It’s so defined.
    For a wash and go I’d suggest applying leave in and gel on soaking wet hair. In the shower is best. For a video you might to use a spray bottle. I’d recommend Mielle Organics Pomegranate Leave In and Mielle Organics Honey Ginger Gel. Or Blueberry Bliss Leave In and Camille Rose Curl Maker or Kinky Curly Curling Custard. I think the smoothing method is best. Coat every. single. strand. from root to tip. Then put it up in a loose high bun to dry. It stretches it and provides a more elongated look. Sometimes you can put a tshirt on the bun for like 10 min or so because the hair does tend to drip. Once it’s 95% dry take it down and you can lightly diffuse to stretch more if desired or just kind of pick it out. Use an oil to break the gel cast. Good luck! Would love to see a video of the results. With your thick texture I’m sure the results be super bomb!

    10:21 my advice for wash and go would be a good eco gell, a compatable leave in conditioner. Plus you would have to shingle. Use the blow dryer on low to stretch out those shrinked up curls but make sure your hair is at least 75% dry. I have problems with wash and go's too until i found this method.

    Love your hair tips! I’m having to slightly transition AGAIN after doing too much heat last summer (why why why... I know better!)🤦🏽‍♀️ lol... your twist out routine has helped me so much and for the first time since the summer I’m enjoying my curls again. You mentioned how one side shrinks more and I have the SAME issue with my right side. At first I thought my sides were cut uneven, but they weren’t. That same side also seems thinner then the other... so annoying. Well I retired that Babyliss and back to treating my hair right. ☺️

Thank you so much for your trial and error to save me so much time. 😊😇 I did make adjustments for my specific hair density and it worked great! Hey hun! You just twist it and wrap it into the shape of a knot. It’s called a hanging Bantu knot. ❤️

      iam.simplysimone Awesome, I will try that. Thank you lady!❤️ I’m new and really enjoying your UA-cam channel. I’m trying to wear my hair natural without heat. I’ve been relaxer free for 10 years but blow dry and flat iron. It just been easier to maintain a professional style. My hair is long and thick but I have too many different textures to wear a wash and go. So I’m trying some of the products and routines that you recommend. Again, Thank you lady! 🤗❤️

    I agree with her one letting your hair dry for a few days. Or plan ahead if you have a event. Because the overnight drying or hair dryer just don't work. If... you want them twists to really pop and keep it's form. I see people do it overnight and it looks a mess day two. But know for your hair works!

    I'm a little confused about the order that you're applying the products to your hair. Are you using the leave in first? When do you use the curl control jelly?

    • @allmyluvs
      @allmyluvs  6 років тому +16

      I applied the Twist N Shout Cream first mixed in with the Nourish and Shine, then the leave in, the Jelly, the foam and then the oil. Hope that helps luv 💋💋💋
