- In this video, I went to shop for iPhone15 Pro Max and got an awesome deal on the phone. I went to all the stores to check out the deals and compared all of them.
So, if you are in Canada or coming to Canada as an International Student or as a Permanent Resident, I hope this video will be useful for you in some way or the other.

The two cheapest cell phone carriers are koodo and virgin to buy an iPhone 15 Pro Max outright is 1700 Plus tax which is 13% All contracts for cell phones in Canada are to be no longer than 2 years so if you do the math $50 for 24 months only comes to 1,300 what he's probably not telling you is there are certain types of contracts where you pay a lower price but when your contract is up you don't own the phone you bring it back to them so you're basically just renting an expensive phone so that is contract if you ever decide actually I want to sell it and upgrade to a new phone you cannot do that you have to bring the phone back to the cell phone store and that phone on the cheapest carrier on the cheapest plan would be $130 plus tax You cannot just buy the phone on contract without having a phone plan you must have a cell phone number linked to that phone unless you buy it right from a licensed seller such as Best Buy Staples or Canada Computers all phones in Canada are sold unlocked so you are more than welcome to use your original SIM card

Is leasing a good option? Is there any downside to it? For eg- if the phone gets stolen or damaged by accident, then what are the consequences? Need suggestions..Because I myself prefer to buy the updated version after using 1 or 2 years anyway but still having second thoughts..
if it's stolen or broken u still pay for ur phone till ur done with the payments. they won't give u another until u complete ur payments for ur broken/stolen phone
If you are a student it is the best option available for you.
There is a Canadian r company that specifically rehouses in refurbishes iPhones Samsungs and other well named brand phones to save on e-waste called Orchard you can get an iPhone not a newer model but still a good phone for your use while in Canada and all Canadian phones are unlocked by law so if you ever want to put an international SIM it will work

Contact an immigration advisor ask him that question and they will actually contact the Canadian education Ministry to see if your credits are transferable if not you will have to receive schooling in Canada to obtain The proper credit certifications
