Apologies, I mispronounced Rod Steiger's name (it's "Sti-ger" not Stee-ger")
Not to worry, Arthur. I noticed this even at my first viewing of this video. The same can be said regarding the pronunciation of Cecil B. DeMille (Hollywood Forever Cemetery). I have always heard the first name pronounced "Cecil" (with a soft "e") as opposed to "Cee-cil" (with a pure "e"). Rest assured, your tremendous contributions far outweigh any putative mispronunciation of any names.
It's pronounced Rod Steiger you said it correctly
Hollywood Graveyard my mom is in that same area as Steiger/j.London😢🙏🏼...Mom was a huge fan of Liberace , we even saw one of his shows in Tahoe when I was little! Thanks 🙏🏼
Pat C Jeff Conaway was cremated his final resting place is unknown sadly
Hope this helps to answer your question
Broccoli is not like the vegetable, Bro- ccol- i (pronounced like e)
Now THIS is how this type of tour should be done - no gossip, no mugging for the camera, and little snippets of trivia or video to remind us of the person being viewed. Well done!
Thanks Greg!
Hollywood Graveyard 😢😢😢😢
Yes I agree
Yes I agree
saying he doesn't engage in gossip is a bit much, he's been speculating on some of the celebrities' sexual orientation which is in extremely poor taste.
Your voice is so soothing and likeable, awesome work mate
I love how much respect you give to the departed. I'm here in 2019 binge watching.
Me, too.
i am herein 2020 and i watch on tv you tube!!
I'm binge watching this in 2021.
@@Matthewlaing1395 they are good ain't they.
@@ajakuk1 Indeed. I've watched them before. But I'm rewatching them
Your videos are superlative for many reasons. What impresses me the most is your excellent narration. It is a pleasure to view your videos because of your excellent tone of voice and vocabulary, excellent enunciation, informative content, and friendly demeanor. I look forward to viewing your next video of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills covering the grave of Brittany Murphy. Might I recommend also producing videos of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and the cemeteries in Culver City that also have the graves of many celebrities? Thanks again for your excellent work.
I appreciate the kind words. We will indeed be visiting all the cemeteries in the greater Los Angeles area, and beyond, so stay tuned!
fun fact when walter lance was looking for someone to do the voice of woody woodpecker his wife wanted to do it but he said no but when he heard the audio tape of his wife doing the voice he changed his mind right away and the rest is cartoon history
Seriously one of the best narrators I've ever heard. It's a real talent.
Psych Corp 👏👏👏👏👏😍🙌

I just stumbled into your channel while doing some creative research...and I absolutely love your videos! I appreciate how informative and well done each one is! very very well done. thank-you!!
If you love them so much why don't you marry them?
by bun I am such a fan of his videos One day I want to work at work morge
The Entertainment World lost a true gentle giant. Back in 2012. Actor Michael Clarke Duncan. Sadly. he passed away from a Heart Attack. He is still Remembered.
There couldn't have been a better actor to portray John Coffey. His size made him seem menacing, but his sweet and tender spirit was so endearing. When he lifts his hands full of fallen leaves and smells them with such joy, it brings tears to my eyes. And the scene where he heals the warden's wife is my favorite.
@@melissaupton2097 Still haven't seen The Green Mile
This is where my distant cousins, Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, are buried too.
I had no idea that we were related until after their deaths I saw our shared family name of Herrman/Harman on 'Celebrity Ethnicity' for Carrie through Debbie's side.
The Herrman/Harman family were Moravian Brethren initially fleeing persecution in Moravia/Bohemia to Germany.
Our common ancestor, Heinrich Adam Herrman, came to Philadelphia from Germany via England in 1726. They later settled on the New River in Virginia.
I live in Fullerton, CA, so I will visit their graves soon.
RIP cousins.
I can't stop watching this series even though it makes me feel nostalgic and depressed - life is fleeting :-/
You still alive
Yeah I feel the same... Life is but a vapor
I can't imagine the time and effort and research it took the put these together. Bravo!

Thank you, I was curious too what the cause was. ArtherDark is so good about who what where and when but sometimes doesn't say how. Still he does an awsome job and I love the show.
I often stop by Forest Lawn and bring flowers to Andy Gibb and his parents (also interred there). Actually, Andy had 3 consecutive number one hits: "I Just Want To Be Your Everything," "Love Is (Thicker than water)", and "Shadow Dancing" (#1 for SEVEN weeks in 1978). A feat which has not been accomplished by any other artist to this day!
I’ve just found your channel and I’m addicted! You’re videos are very informative and enjoyable to watch. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
RIP Freddie Prinze. Had a huge crush on him......
Apparently so did someone else. I see lipstick on his grave. I'm sorry he's no longer here. :(
I wish you could do all grave sites of well know people all around the world I could listen to them all day thank you so much
Does anyone else remember Josh Ryan Evans as Timmy the doll from Passions? I loved that soap opera and watched it everyday.
cdh0879 I do. It was a silly show but he was good in it.
Omg yes! That’s where I remember him from
Yes! I loved Passions! It was delightfully campy and over the top!
About once a year I indulge my morbid side and watch videos dealing with death. Having seen a few of these by now, I can say without reservation that yours are EASILY the best I've ever seen. I can usually call it a day after watching only one or two of these videos due to the amateurish nature of them but yours are so well made I watched them all and now I'm still wanting more. Thanks for sharing these videos and also for taking the time to pause on the graves of not so well known stars and production people. I'm sure these lost celebrities would appreciate your warmth and attention to detail and above all, the respect you show for them as people.
Thank you for the kind words, glad you found us!
it make funny
Cool
Sheerkhanful: Your evaluation and comments are spot on. Indeed, perhaps the best metric for measuring the excellence of these videos is that they leave us wanting more. For me, not a day goes by that I must view several of these videos because of the excellence of the music, persons presented, and the wonderfully informative narration of Arthur Dark.
The absolute best, no comparison
Pardon if I didn't see this vid before asking about Lemmy and Dio. Its nice that two rock legends are buried nearby and Lem finally got a nice headstone for his Columbarium niche.
Michael Ansara was married to Barbara Eden. He also played in I Dream of Genie as the evil gin
I seem to remember that too. I believe they had a son together who has since passed away also.
Bette Davis’ grave was brilliant. This is what famous stars should have as their eternal marker.
Bill j This is what Elizabeth Taylor said in ....Virginia Woolf.
Bette Davis was a whole lot better than Joan Crawford and she was a fine actress The Watcher in the Woods and Return to Witch Mountain and Now Voyager
Happy to report the plaque for Josh Ryan Evans has been replaced. Now it bears his name and another family member (guessing his grandmother)
His mother was interred with him in Nov 2016. Her name was Cheryl Allison Evans.
Interesting to note: George Raft died exactly two days after his good friend and co-star Mae West. And Freddie Prinze's father Karl Pruetzel is buried next to Freddie. He survived his son by 10 years.
R.I.P LIBERACE
I can remember that Mary Kay Bergman was the voice of Daphne Blake in three Scooby-Doo animated films - 'Zombie Island' in 1998, 'Witch's Ghost' in 1999, and 'Alien Invaders' in 2000. Only 38 years old when she committed suicide. Jeepers, how tragic life can be sometimes...
Kevin Baker
She was also the voice of alot of the characters in South Park
She was wonderful as Daphne but committed suicide is a bummer she must have been nuts
@@garycarpenter6433 According to the Wikipedia article on Mary Kay Bergman, she had bipolar and generalized anxiety disorders that she hid from everyone, including her fellow voice actors. She was not 'nuts', but she was afraid of not being able to do any more voice acting work as she aged. (She had nothing to worry about - look at June Foray, who was a voice actress for Warner Bros. well into her 90s. Frank Welker is 78 and still going strong as both Fred and Scooby-Doo today.)
@@kevinbaker4241 Janet Waldo was the same way she aged gracefully and she was hilarious she was my favorite after June Foray and Mel BLANC
Michael Clarke Duncan was born a month before my dad and died a month after my dad...
"Oh look. A deer!" HAHA
Wow a deer that's crazy but if it was a raccoon that'd be bad because of rabies possibly
I'm so glad I found this channel :) I love it ❤️❤️
Please go and visit Lucille Ball where she is now?
Thank you to my fellow Andy Gibb fans for keeping his grave so beautiful. Please keep it up.💜🌺🇬🇧
Your commentary is fantastic. I live in the UK but would like to visit Hollywood one day. Thank you so much for a truly insightful video.
I still have my personalize autograph picture of Walter Lantz (4:40). His wife (Grace) shared with me Mel Blanc auditioned for the woody Woodpecker too. She eventually did the voice for Woody according to her.
New subscriber! Great video! I had no idea all these stars were there!
Love you Lacy!
Lemmey Kilmister and Ronnie James Dio really break my heart , there music still inspires me to this day. \m/.
I respectfully disagree with the comment left by Chrissy Stepford who said "Music detracts....Doesn't enhance." In actual fact, the background music and music you select for specific narrations completely enhances the videos. For example, the background music that you selected when presenting the information about Yakima Canutt was perfect. I would also add that most people are not aware of your perfect timing of having the music end right when you conclude the narration of the person whom you are presenting. Again, I would use your presentation of Yakima Canutt as an example. It is these subtle observations that distinguish the viewer who appreciates the full scope of your talent from those who don't.
Well said! I totally agree!
So true! I'm a pro musician and think very highly of both Giuseppe's music and the subtle ways it is intertwined.
Dude I wondered if you were going to do lemmy thank you.
Hollywood graveyard, thank you, love watching your vlogs
I just love this mans voice which make's the vids so addictive to watch.
I loved Lou Rawls, such a great singer. So many great memories of famous people you cover. I cry with each video remembering.
Josh Ryan Evans also plays in the long running daytime soap opera show Passions as Timmy Lenox.
I can't believe he didn't mention that! Timmy was so adorable! Just wanted to pick him up and steal him from Tabitha.
I love these videos. It's both entertaining and educational without being morbid. Great editing skills! Subscribed!
I have a silly question. buy how do you know who is in an un marked grave? like with Steve Allen. how did you know that was his? a guide?
Cemetery records and sites like "Find-a-Grave."
Hollywood Graveyard ah yes that makes sense lol. these are great. I love old classic movies and sad I can't be around these great actors.
Hollywood Graveyard rest in peace to all the celebrity
Thank you for including the first resting place of Lucille Ball!! I have visited her where she is now in Jamestown, NY. I am a big fan but I actually didn’t know she was cremated! Thanks for the videos!
Today marks the 7th anniversary of Ronnie James Dio's death😔

I heard a rumor that Ronnie James Dio it's still alive according to tmz

This was very interesting. Everyone deserves to be remembered. Rest In Peace.
I feel Woody Woodpeckers laugh will never get out of my head now, thank
Nippsy Hustle and John Singleton are now there as well R.I.P to all the greats
Amazing video.
Can you confirm is there only one Forest Flawn?
I am coming to LA in May, and love to see this.
Where is Michael Jackson buried?
There are actually 10 Forest Lawn locations. MJ is in Glendale.
NRZ Productions UK. 1st off its forest lawn not "forest flawn"
NRZ Productions UK michael jacksom was at hollywood hills but i think he was placed at forest lawn glendale.
My favorite memory is seeing Andy Gibb in concert in his home city of Miami at 14 years old. Our first concert ever and having him respond to our... I love you!!! With a breathy I love you too back to us!!! Made our teenybopper evening 💜💜💜🌺🌺🇬🇧🇬🇧
this reminds me of when you take a tour to buy a house.
So pleased to have seen where Andy Gibb's final resting place is. Thanks Love your videos
I really liked seeing Dio's grave since I am a big fan. Thank you. That was so cool.
I've watched every single tour on this channel. Today, I start the journey over again. Thank you for all that you do Arthur!
this one most of the shocking ones I never known about the small child from the grinch stole Christmas I had no idea he passed away so sad
Every time I watch your vids, I always think, “I didn’t know that”. Now I do.
"Nothing in Moderation". What a great epitaph for Ernie Kovacs!!! 🌹
well that's that...I've watched all your videos and now I'm sad...please keep going. I'm addicted!
Edie did an awesome Marilyn impression. That made me chuckle. 😏
You didn't say anything about Lucille Ball, she played Lucy in I Love Lucy.
I figured I'd save the full profile until we visit her actual grave.
Lucille Ball was huge back then and her grave doesn’t even have her name on it? Your video are all just wonderful!
The blank space to the right of Lucy was her mom DiDi.
I'm assuming she was shipped back to Jamestown as well.
Bette Davis bought this tomb when her beloved mother died. Don't know if you knew or not but the statue above her tomb was sculpted to look like her daughter. The daughter who later betrayed her with a tell-all book released on Mother's Day in 1985, when Bette was recovering from breast cancer and strokes. Guess who got cut out of the will without a dime? I'm surprised Bette didn't have the statue replaced before she passed.
Your video series is extremely intriguing. Will you pay visit to places like Hollywood Forever, Westwood and the other Forest Lawns?
Thank you, yes, we'll be visiting as many cemeteries as we can here in California, and potentially world-wide.
Have you ever met Stone Cold Steve Austin
I love these videos!!!!! I knew most of the celebrities have passed on, but I was suprised on a few. Like Tamara De Tearux who played E.T, and Josh Evans who played young Grinch. He was also the doll boy on Passions
I love your youtube channel! But when you were referring Mr. Broccoli , the first movie in the James Bond genre was "Her Majesty Secret Service, not "Dr. No".
Love the Ronnie James Dio and Ian " Lemmy" Kilmister tributes \m/
This whole series is just so good . Excellently done. I love famous graves and have been to a couple of these, This format is perfect. From photography ,music and narration its' awesome.
Anyone know what those knobs are on each Luce of marble? I’m thinking it’s used to help install it?
malerba310 that’s what I thought, how else do they get the stone faces off? But Mr Dark says it’s to attach vases🤷🏼♀️
@@missyb9438 Hmm..
Bette Davis is my favorite. Thank you for showing her grave
Kim Iverson is doing an excellent job, she right on target, stay with It, thanks for your work.
mary kay bergman was a great voice actress, too bad she killed herself.
11:36 Andy Gibb is the true legacy in music industry because I hear the song "I just want to be your everything" and also "(Our Love) Don't Throw It Away" that's why he really miss his family, friends and fans as well.
Rest in Peace Andy, your memories and music will never forget. 😭😭🙏
stumbled onto your channel as well...really interesting and professionally put together. Was at Marilyn Monroe's grave in Westwood Memorial park as it was then in 1979 l had to ask the Gardener to take my picture the place was deserted and her tombstone pristine with the De Magio Roses in place, a lot different than today. could you if you know please tell me where that great and neglected actor Richard Bradford is buried/cremated cannot find any information online he was best known for 'Man in a suitcase ' the ITC British series.
Great videos hope you can help.
Dave.
The very best tours ever. Beyond perfect and absolutely unmatchable.!
That picture of the English Bulldog is cute
RIP Lou Rawls ☘
Charles Laughton was great! One of my favorite movies with him is “Ruggles of Red Gap.”
Oooooo, I got chills down my spine. You walked right past grandma and my dad. After watching this, it makes me want to try and go back to visit
I think I have watched this 3 or 4 times now... just beautifully presented and lovingly put together - thank you so much for taking me to see memorials which are a long way from my home! ~M x
Thank you for making such professional videos with enough information to remember the dearly departed from the entertainment business.
Congratulations on your diction, it's perfect.

Andy Gibb was the first poster I ever hung over my bed. I still miss him.
I loved Andy gibbs
Aww...so sad but it's true 😭😭😭

Lee van Cleef! Now, you are talking Hollywood!
I found your channel a few days ago and decided to stop hopping around and watch things in order. I appreciate how you introduce behind the scenes greats, musicians, everyone people are interested in; give information about the person and keep them as the subject of your work. This might be the only way some people learn about people from generations other than their own.
Really interesting videos. I'd never seen Lemmy and Dio's resting place. I love them more than I can say.
♥
Thanks Lucile ball for Star Trek🙏 RIP
Hello future person, yes a legend was born. You're right, the channel has come a long way since posting this video. Indeed, people are still watching in *[insert date here]* Have a lovely day!
Your work is Immense You should have your own TV show regarding the stars of Hollywood. One person you have missed out on here is the A team creator And renegade creator Stephen J Cannell. Keep up the amazing work!
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Duncan when we filmed Talladega Nights. He was so kind, funny and sweet. God bless ♡
I never knew there was an actress playing ET. That was my favorite movie growing up...so many accomplishments in that cemetery that helped shape and entertain generations
If I could make a presentation in spanish of this post the result is this one:
"Bienvenidos a Hollywood Graveyard, donde recordaremos y celebraremos a aquellos que dedicaron su vida al entretenimiento, visitando sus últimas moradas. Hoy visitaremos el cementerio Forest Lawn en Hollywood Hills donde encontraremos estrellas como Bette Davis, Liberace, el co-creador del ratón Mickey y muchos más. ¿Te unes a nosotros?"
I hope enjoy this translation. Greets from Peru...
I'll be sure to watch this one, over and over. Your productions never grow old !
We still love you Andy Gibb💜🌺🇬🇧
I'm amazed at the amount of work and research/information that you put into each video. Amazing. I enjoy every video.
Iiiii
I couldn't what this brave guy is doing cause you know when you go into a cemetery and it feels like someone or something is watching you
good gravy this is thorough. Very interesting!
Valhalla Is horrible at keeping the stones clean from what I've seen of your video's. Forest Lawn keeps them clean and unburied from the grass and dirt engulfing them.
Beyond awesome that Lemmy and Ronnie are buried so close to each other. 🤘
Lemmy and Ronny together..So cool !!!
