If Dora built out his base he'd have a chance. he's doing so little to maintain it. Build a watchtower base or something and the zombies might go to Appsro. One thing he's missing. He can build anywhere on his property. He needs to make a base as close to apprso's house as he can, and make it tough. This would cause more Zombies to head towards appsro.

Zombies spawn from multiple directions every hoard night. Dora just fails to kill them so they pile up on him and prevent spawning elsewhere. Base location matters far less than the path to the player. Not only does Dora have the simplest path to his tender meaty innards, he also has virtually no defenses, and he's put almost no points into ranged damage. So, while spikes and traps kill all the zombies at the other guy's places, the zombies pile up on Dora, who has terrible ranged damage and no defenses. As long as they are on Dora, no new zombies can spawn. He needs to kill them faster so they can spawn on the other guys. I don't see that happening though : )
And don't forget Dora also has a hidey hole so the amount stored at or near Dora is higher. That hole keeps them at his place for longer than a fast death to spikes or traps.

If they ever do a contest like this again, I hope they learn from this and have everyone build their base in separate locations, so zombies that spawn in for one person can’t path to another. I am enjoying the series, don’t get me wrong, but anyone who knows the mechanics of this game can’t possibly say this has been fairly setup. Even by their own rules, they’re not allowed to grief each other, kill each other, sabotage, etc. By building the way that Simon and Appsro are, whether they know it or not, they’re sending zombies meant for them to the other players. They’re all too close together for how they all build.
Dora scraps bandages: Announcer: "That's a bold move. Let's see how it works out for him." I've gotta say, Dora's base is a steaming pile, but that DP/vault hatch combo is doing work. There's only 1 block for them to stand on outside the hatch, and DP pwns noobs on that spot. Also, Dora's ability to be slippery is pretty awesome. His part of horde night is keeping the series entertaining.
I love you guys. Thanks for bringing a bit of joy to my currently screwed up life. I know you do it for everyone, not just me, but it means a lot to me that you guys are going strong. I love how much better the music editing has gotten not just for this series, but all videos you do. The songs have varied and it matches the gameplay way better than before👍👍
Damn, Dora is some sort of Rambo/Die Hard/Terminator/Matrix love-child protagonist. Amazing. Though he should really try and make a funnel to lead the zombies to Appsro's place. Kinda hard with only a day to work on materials but I think it might work out.
I think the zombies might have evenly allocated spawns but because Simons spikes and Appsros blade traps kill the zombiea quick, more zombies pile up at Doras. Because there is a zombie cap, they don't spawn and attack Appsro or Simon until dora kills them, thus creating and enforcing the dora horde
Unpopular opinion I know but I've enjoyed this. The boys tried something different and have executed it well. I'm a fan, and I have enjoyed every episode even when it's just them scavenging. Free entertainment with some guys I have watched for years. I can't complain...some of y'all sure can though.
What's funny/frustrating is that the same people who are complaining that this series is taking too long to end are the same ones who'll be complaining that there are no new 7DtD episodes when it's over. You know, in between yelling downstairs to see if their mom finished their laundry yet or throwing a tantrum because she forgot to cut the crusts off their sandwich.
Gotta give credit to Doraleous for the way he's survived, especially with some of the situations he's found himself in once the horde starts getting heavy on his end. Makes it all the more amusing when you remember how he got to the edge of being eliminated. Also, I can't understand why Neebs is still fighting with the mindset of melee for as long as possible, and the guns on the verge of death. He's no longer in a situation that he has to be careful like that.
If I remember correctly, they target and pathfind based on the Hit Points worth of stuff between them and you, so you have to work on subterranean defenses as well as above ground, and that's mainly why they're going after Dora, and to some extent Simon and barely looking at Appsro. Those two haven't upgraded their bases nearly as solidly. To be fair, I'd probably be in nearly the same boat as I never put much effort into figuring out how the electrical traps work. Triggering self-destructs can be a useful tactic also.
New folks don't always know that Dora's a Marine. Give them a command like "survive" with no further instructions, and then sit back and watch the chaos as they accomplish the goal against seemingly impossible odds. Semper Fi Dora 🙏🇺🇲
However long this one lasts, I hope it becomes a regularly recurring series. They don't have to do a billboard every time, but the competition is gold.

You guys must be horrible at gambling. If Simon actually had his fair share of zombies attacking he would already be gone. It's blind luck, doing very little hiding behind as many spikes as possible.
Dora's weathering a full storm every night and somehow does just enough to keep his head above water. I must say that shows some skill in finding fighting-positions and judging when to fall back. Increasing block damage is hastening the destruction of each fighting position though. "Stressful" exchanges between the players and Appsro's bullet-abuse of Neebs this episode were really funny.
DORA, if you don't manage to slip and slide your way all the way to the end, you have definitely earned your "Yo, Adrian! I did it!" Rocky moment. Holy balls, m'man! Every time I think it's over for you, you turn into John Wick and power your way through to another sunrise. That "Level 4 Pummel Pete" moment was funny but what I'll remember most about you when this series is over is how bad-assedly you survived horde night after horde night, long after people had written you off. I'm rootin' for you, bruh. Almost as hard as I'm rooting for those bomb guys whenever they show up at Appsro's...
IDK how well Simon would do if he got zombies all night. they actually cleared out a LOT of his spikes in this episode, and that was in just in half the night. I think he'd be doing the zombie two step with Dora if he continued to get spawns.

Yeah, he's definitely moved into that Rocky-style "underdog" category that people love to root for. I mean, with how much base he has left and how little time they have to grind in between horde nights, he's pretty F'd, but with how many more zombies he's had to face, how hard he's fighting, and how skillfully he's been evading (when it has seemed to be definitely over for him a few times), I'd love to see him pull it off somehow. That's why, as much as I like Appsro, I keep rooting for the bomb guys when they show up. Whatever happens, though, Dora has earned his "Yo, Adrian, I did it!" moment.

There's a lot of (presumably) intentional lack of planning and prep. It makes for interesting horde nights, but yeah it's painful to watch.

Dora's weathering a full storm every night and somehow does just enough to keep his head above water. I must say that shows some skill in finding fighting-positions and judging when to fall back. Increasing block damage is hastening the destruction of each fighting position though.
"Stressful" exchanges between the players and Appsro's bullet-abuse of Neebs this episode were really funny.

Every time I think it's over for you, you turn into John Wick and power your way through to another sunrise. That "Level 4 Pummel Pete" moment was funny but what I'll remember most about you when this series is over is how bad-assedly you survived horde night after horde night, long after people had written you off. I'm rootin' for you, bruh. Almost as hard as I'm rooting for those bomb guys whenever they show up at Appsro's...
my initial breakdown was a final with Dora and Appsro but I dont know how this will end.
IDK how well Simon would do if he got zombies all night. they actually cleared out a LOT of his spikes in this episode, and that was in just in half the night. I think he'd be doing the zombie two step with Dora if he continued to get spawns.

Kinda hope Dora wins just because how much he's gone through.
Yeah, he's definitely moved into that Rocky-style "underdog" category that people love to root for. I mean, with how much base he has left and how little time they have to grind in between horde nights, he's pretty F'd, but with how many more zombies he's had to face, how hard he's fighting, and how skillfully he's been evading (when it has seemed to be definitely over for him a few times), I'd love to see him pull it off somehow. That's why, as much as I like Appsro, I keep rooting for the bomb guys when they show up.
Whatever happens, though, Dora has earned his "Yo, Adrian, I did it!" moment.
