Funny enough as stupid as it's likely used in Ticci Toby, there is a disorder that makes someone unable to feel pain from birth, known as CIP. Now obviously it doesn't mean you can't die or can take punishment like Superman or anything goofy like that, death doesn't come from feeling pain, BUT it's considered extraordinarily rare and it's more than anything extremely dangerous for the sufferer, since well, pain isn't just there to inconvenience you, it's your body alarming you that something's going on, which for people with CIP just isn't there, so they typically are advised to see a doctor far more regularly, basically because they require 'manual' looking over since their 'automatic' response doesn't work.
Such a terrifying condition for a child to have. Dentist already have to watch out for their young toddlers patient with local anesthesia so they don't literally eat their lips and cheeks. Kids are incredibly stupid and would possibly break their fingers for fun cause they don't feel it.
I'm pretty sure Toby's original story mentions him having problems with biting at/eating at his hands, similar to a nervous habit of biting your finger nails, which I appreciated having in there since it's similar to a lot of problems people with CIP experience, even if it's otherwise not super well executed

Normal pron has to be one of the most disturbing for me. Just something about it’s whole premise and setup gets to me. The whole “bizarre disturbing obscure snuff website/VHS tapes/tv channel” horror
My biggest problem with the Rugrats theory is that it actually starts out pretty ok, but then towards the end it just devolves into a mess. It's like they were trying so hard the ruined it. I have that same problem when I write, which is why I don't write.
Ted the caver is probably such a good creepypasta, because it was actually written to be a scary story baseline, and only ended up in the internet as a result of the internet becoming more interesting, that and it wasnt destroyed by really crappy archetypes that made up creepypastas later.
Not me still thinking about the gorefest about a female trainer hatching an orphaned baby cubone egg with no mother, which proceeds to (and it is described in detail) hatch, cling onto her head and claw her scalp and muscle off and scoop her brains and eyes out for her skull to put on its head Its probably not as bad as i remember but i read this when i was 9 years old and i remember it being awful
I love how in the E,E,E story everyone else died from something understandable and realistic and then one of them's just "Oh yea they got raped and killed by some crazy escaped person"
I wonder if it could possibly be more spectacular than the UA-cam iceberg. That took almost an entire year to produce and all of The moments were worth it
one of my favorite pastas (which doesn't seem to be on the iceberg for some reason) is "Pale Luna", which is similar to "Mr. Mix" but has (in my opinion) a much better payoff
Ok but to be completely honest i could listen to dylan's voice for hours. His voice just scratches my brain and the way he tells/reads the stories is calming and mysterious at the same time
Man the search and rescue one has to be one of my favorites. I remember Corpse Husband read it back in the day and I was so enthralled by the mysterious stair cases that I honestly believed they may have been real. I had a friend who was in like junior search and rescue ( I forget what it's called) and he fed my stupidity and told me they were real lol. I know they aren't now, but that mysterious feeling of finding something so strange yet familiar has stuck with me for a long time. It's even influenced some of my own stories.
The $used up thing is near where I lived there was a staircase in the Woods. A house had been there and burned down years before. Me and my cousin's used to play there as kids because that's what you did when you were unsupervised in the 90's and there was no internet yet and you were bored of what was on TV. Year's later, my cousin sends me the creepypasta and adds "staircase in the Woods lol". It brought back old memories for me and kinda freaked me out a little. I never told anybody about the staircase because I didn't want to be teased for "being gullable".
The background music for the Rugrats theory segment really makes me wanna play the old PS1 games again. Especially Rugrats Studio Tour. Thank you for that nostalgia trip.
I think the whole "brother becomes addicted to hacking games after seeing one break because of hacking" could've worked if they just had his logic be "if I break it, mum will replace it, and I might be able to convince her to get new games!"
Even mentioning the name Sonic.exe 2 triggers an almost Pavlovian laughter when I hear it. Between the detective wonder twins the MC is part of, to Sonic.exe having seven guardians with embarrassing weeaboo names, that story would be unintentional comedy gold if it wasn't so bloated.
The ed edd n Eddy theory was super popular back in the day. People I knew from school believed that was actually apart of the story of the show. Most of them didn't even know what creepypasta was even.
Seeing Dylan and Luigikid collaborating makes me so happy! This part was my favorite so far and look forward to what comes next, it is so exciting since these are always so fun to watch. Keep up the fantastic work my dude!
Wait, are we including No Sleep stories into this? If so, then I hope some of my favorite No Sleep stories end up here. I personally think they’re usually (keyword usually) written much, much better than your average creepypasta. I read the SAR stories as they came out, and man, it was so exciting waiting for each new part to come. I love the atmosphere of the No Sleep subreddit because of how we all have to pretend it’s real even if we have doubts. It really helps make the stories come to life.
I agree! I wish he'd Cover the "left right game", which could also be a small iceberg. Also the one where a ladder suddenly appears in the middle of the ocean
seeing Luigikid, a youtuber i havent watched in *years,* show up in a video about creepypastas was such a slap in the face. a good one mind you, but still a slap in the face
The SAR Officer stories are fantastic! I keep going back to them every few months. There's been some related stories published since the official end, too. I'm actually considering a career in the forest service, so this 'pasta is even better.
The funny thing about Misfortune is that, while the story itself is fake, the "devil" sprite is from a real GB game, albeit one that was only released in Japanese. How do I know this? Well, at home we still have an old GB, and among my dad's collection of games was a humongous cartridge filled with bootleg games, among which were... really all sorts of games, ranging from Bart vs The Juggernauts, to Terminator, to Super Mario Land. I suppose he must have gotten it from a flea market or something. And among that bootleg collection was an untranslated Japanese game where the antagonist had that exact black fly-man sprite and that exact cut-in image, accompanied by cheesy dramatic 8-bit music. The actual game seemed to be a top-down puzzle rpg with a heckin' lot of block puzzles. So yeah, that's where this sprite is from. Not the devil, not something cursed, just some obscure GB game character from a kids' puzzle game.
Bro. I got so excited when Luigikid joined the fray. It's like you're hitting me in all the nostalgic spots. Plus, his Austrian accent makes his narration quite endearing.
ik ur dubbing a lot of profanity out bc of yt guidelines, but when it comes to “SA”, ur probably the only youtuber i’ve seen who doesn’t actually say it…although i don’t really like stuff being censored, it’s nice for someone like me who’s dealt w trauma, and continues to be fascinated in the disturbing, to just not worry about getting a negative reaction just from the word, so thx dude
The ed edd and eddy theory actually seems very cool and legit, but more so in a "they represent different eras" kinda way rather than them all being dead lol
I love how this video seriesswings wildly between unnerving images and unsettlimg stories, to Angelica from.Rugrats being a crack baby and serial killer OTPs.
Rewatching this series, I don’t know how you manage to be so entertaining for so long. After watching someone for x amount of hours, you usually grow tired of their narration, but you just keep my attention every time. Can’t wait for part seven! I think it’s part seven, at least.
There was actually an "uncut" version of Mr. Mix that was uploaded to pastebin (it's long gone, though) that describes what was in that final level. Let's just say...there indeed _was_ some "dark, illegal stuff".
I read it, and it sucked. It replaced the mystery with disgusting gratuitous shock that the author clearly typed with one hand. Sick creep went into WAY too much detail about that girl.
Snow on Mt Silver isn't that great, but that fuckin picture with the smiling Pikachu always creeped me the hell out. Its the way it stares right at the viewer that puts my hairs on end.
1:39:51 This doesn't necessarily mean that what they saw on its own would be enough to drive someone insane. It could be like a memetic or cognito hazard from SCP, where viewing it has horrible effects on the mind, causing permanent damage through some anomalous means.
I tried writing one a while back when I was younger. Only thing I can remember was this: “You need not fret. Soon you will be one of the damned. You will be a sheep no longer. Prey no longer. You will be a Lion, and you will eat your full of the flock that scorned you.”
I almost kind of like the idea of the reversal creepypasta’s because it feels like a flip on what Disney did to dark folklore, turning them into happy little perfect worlds
I don't really consider myself to be a person that gets scared easily but the first time I saw that Mario rom hack jpeg it scared the s*** out of me and I still can't look at it.
Hearing the Too Slow Music box during the Ed edd and eddy entry destroyed the tension Because all I could think of was fnf But I can say the music box makes things more chilling. Amazing music choices for the video overall!
Nice video! Also your back rooms iceberg has made me so interested into the back rooms. Will you be making another one? If so how long do you think it will take to come out?
Third one down of my marathon of rewatching, this is definitely a lot better than part two and a little history, I was introduced to a lot of these Creepypastas (Ticci Tobi be an example) whenever I used to have a profile on Deviantart, and among all the dreaded stuff there (I.e. OC to character shippings and body inflation), there was actually a good bit of Creepypasta art with a series I vividly remember called "I eat Pasta for Breakfast".
That last one sounded very intriguing, right up my alley. Also I appreciate these videos, very well done, and great to listen/watch while drawing creepy stuff myself ;)
Hey Dylan, great work as usual. I'm studying for the CPA right now and this is great to have playing in the background while I grind out work. Can't wait to watch more of your content. Blessings - Paul
1:30:17 I have Tourette Syndrome and I find the part about him getting bullied for it a bit unrealistic because unless you were to specifically mention it to someone (as I’ve seen from other people that suffer from it) people don’t usually care and even if you do specifically mention it to somebody most of the time they won’t care either. On TikTok people without it will make harmful jokes about people with it especially videos during Tic attacks but most people will be supportive to them and won’t make fun of you for it. Also Tourette Syndrome is more than just twitches. If you were going to make a story with somebody with an illness you should probably do your research about it before adding a character with that illness into your story unless you have that illness yourself.
37:19. That music made me remember that damn Rugats Studio Tour PS1 game, from my childhood. I think I'm gonna dig it outta storage and give it a playthrough!
The funny thing about the Creepypasta Wiki (which, along with cataloguing pastas, is where quite a few make their debut) is that anyone can edit the pages, and therefore the stories. I remember coming back to a story I'd read ages ago on there, only to find that parts of the text had been changed, and not for the better. The funniest part was that the original author was complaining in the comment section, like "Hey, I may have been an edgy fourteen year old when I made this, but I did *not* write THAT crap!" ...The original Pasta was actually pretty good. Especially for something written by a kid. I wonder what the author's doing now...
As an AVID Pokémon fan, and also someone who gets extremely emotionally attached to my Pokémon, Snow on Mt. Silver scared and disturbed the ever living HELL out of me. Especially the use of the specific moves that were being used, like Struggle and Perish Song and Destiny Bond at the end. Seeing stuff like your Pokémon dying and fighting even when they’re miserable and barely hanging on made me feel sick to my stomach, and I legit jumped at the Pikachu face at the end lol. So while I agree the brother’s reaction was a little,,,,MUCH,,,,for probably a good amount of Pokémon fans (or at least just me) that was h e l l a creepy!
I don’t know why, but every time I hear your voice, it reminds me to that Hipkins rabbit from that odd british puppet show. XD Greetings From the Mexico, Mexico

My biggest problem with the Rugrats theory is that it actually starts out pretty ok, but then towards the end it just devolves into a mess. It's like they were trying so hard the ruined it. I have that same problem when I write, which is why I don't write.
"get yourself a snack or two"

How was the quesadilla
@@theanubisfan10 delicious
@@fuzzymelon1261 I'm glad!
I did that but on many more videos
Cringe
Ted the caver is probably such a good creepypasta, because it was actually written to be a scary story baseline, and only ended up in the internet as a result of the internet becoming more interesting, that and it wasnt destroyed by really crappy archetypes that made up creepypastas later.
Ah the Pokémon Creepypastas. When I was a child these stories scared me to the point of nightmares. Especially buried alive. I was not very smart.
Yea. My favorite one was about Absol always appearing before someone died
Not me still thinking about the gorefest about a female trainer hatching an orphaned baby cubone egg with no mother, which proceeds to (and it is described in detail) hatch, cling onto her head and claw her scalp and muscle off and scoop her brains and eyes out for her skull to put on its head
Its probably not as bad as i remember but i read this when i was 9 years old and i remember it being awful
I love how in the E,E,E story everyone else died from something understandable and realistic and then one of them's just "Oh yea they got raped and killed by some crazy escaped person"
Can't wait for when the parts get made into one whole video
I wonder if it could possibly be more spectacular than the UA-cam iceberg. That took almost an entire year to produce and all of The moments were worth it
It's possible. We'll have to wait and see how see how the rest of the iceberg goes, but for me, it's looking like this is the better one
Mastercut gang!
Damn, cant wait to listen to this while playing some monster hunter.
one of my favorite pastas (which doesn't seem to be on the iceberg for some reason) is "Pale Luna", which is similar to "Mr. Mix" but has (in my opinion) a much better payoff
Ok but to be completely honest i could listen to dylan's voice for hours. His voice just scratches my brain and the way he tells/reads the stories is calming and mysterious at the same time
Aww thank you so much!
Staircases in the woods near my parents house. They all lead up into tree blinds for hunting. Love the idea of them freaking people out though.
That MARIO image is still the most jarring and unnerving picture i know
Even mentioning the name Sonic.exe 2 triggers an almost Pavlovian laughter when I hear it. Between the detective wonder twins the MC is part of, to Sonic.exe having seven guardians with embarrassing weeaboo names, that story would be unintentional comedy gold if it wasn't so bloated.
The Angelica/Rugrats entry was a RIDE XD
Also, I can't believe you didn't hear about Killswitch until now! It's one of my personal favourites ❤️
The M.A.R.I.O picture always makes me feel a certain type of fear I cannot comprehend nor explain.
Perfect video to get me in the mood for my favourite holiday. Thanks Dylan!
Hyped to stay up tonight and listen to this
The build-up to the face in the MARIO entry was great.
seeing Luigikid, a youtuber i havent watched in *years,* show up in a video about creepypastas was such a slap in the face. a good one mind you, but still a slap in the face
Ah and another gantasic part! Take all the time you need. Plus, the new oceberg looks really fun!
The bonus entries are such a great addition to this video! And the way you narrate them are chilling and well done!
These icebergs are really interesting, keep it up with the content 👍
i used to get the harbinger experiment and the russian sleep experiment confused pretty often
Bro. I got so excited when Luigikid joined the fray. It's like you're hitting me in all the nostalgic spots. Plus, his Austrian accent makes his narration quite endearing.
The whiplash when luigikid showed up 😭😭 I haven’t watched him since 6th grade dudeee I recognized his voice immediately
love these iceberg videos keep it up :)
ik ur dubbing a lot of profanity out bc of yt guidelines, but when it comes to “SA”, ur probably the only youtuber i’ve seen who doesn’t actually say it…although i don’t really like stuff being censored, it’s nice for someone like me who’s dealt w trauma, and continues to be fascinated in the disturbing, to just not worry about getting a negative reaction just from the word, so thx dude
The ed edd and eddy theory actually seems very cool and legit, but more so in a "they represent different eras" kinda way rather than them all being dead lol
That Mario creepy pasta face will always creep me out. Especially the mystery behind that image
Tbh I just found this channel by chance and after the first two parts and the back rooms video I know it’s gonna be fire
Toby: before This is over, I want you to know one thing. I can’t feel any of this
I love how this video seriesswings wildly between unnerving images and unsettlimg stories, to Angelica from.Rugrats being a crack baby and serial killer OTPs.
Rewatching this series, I don’t know how you manage to be so entertaining for so long. After watching someone for x amount of hours, you usually grow tired of their narration, but you just keep my attention every time. Can’t wait for part seven! I think it’s part seven, at least.
i remember listening to the harbinger experiment years ago. to this day its still the only story to truly terrify me
LMAO
There was actually an "uncut" version of Mr. Mix that was uploaded to pastebin (it's long gone, though) that describes what was in that final level. Let's just say...there indeed _was_ some "dark, illegal stuff".
I read it, and it sucked. It replaced the mystery with disgusting gratuitous shock that the author clearly typed with one hand. Sick creep went into WAY too much detail about that girl.
I have not heard of half of these Creepypastas, so thank you for giving me some possible nightmare fuel when im done wqtching this
the Harbinger Experiment is my favorite creepypasta, it evokes a fear i never knew inside of me
Woke up hours before I should of for this, I’ve been hooked with this iceberg when I first watch it
I actually translated Ticci Tobby into Polish when I was like 14. Badly and with Goodle Translate but hey, people were happy.
These videos are the best, never stop man
Snow on Mt Silver isn't that great, but that fuckin picture with the smiling Pikachu always creeped me the hell out. Its the way it stares right at the viewer that puts my hairs on end.
1:39:51
This doesn't necessarily mean that what they saw on its own would be enough to drive someone insane. It could be like a memetic or cognito hazard from SCP, where viewing it has horrible effects on the mind, causing permanent damage through some anomalous means.
I tried writing one a while back when I was younger. Only thing I can remember was this:
“You need not fret. Soon you will be one of the damned. You will be a sheep no longer. Prey no longer. You will be a Lion, and you will eat your full of the flock that scorned you.”
Okay, that’s both inspirational and Vengeful... more of the latter but still...
I can't be the only one who thought of that "why did your mom let you get two hot dogs" meme from that goatman story
Cant wait for the vid to drop
I almost kind of like the idea of the reversal creepypasta’s because it feels like a flip on what Disney did to dark folklore, turning them into happy little perfect worlds
This is by far the best and most extensive iceberg I have ever seen on UA-cam
I don't really consider myself to be a person that gets scared easily but the first time I saw that Mario rom hack jpeg it scared the s*** out of me and I still can't look at it.
Hearing the Too Slow Music box during the Ed edd and eddy entry destroyed the tension
Because all I could think of was fnf
But I can say the music box makes things more chilling. Amazing music choices for the video overall!
1:12:37 lmfao GODDDDDD that art's old, I think i made it like...2010 or so? Didn't expect to see it here.
dylan always got that fire soundtrack playing in the background i swear
this is about to be some heat, you never disappoint
Nice video! Also your back rooms iceberg has made me so interested into the back rooms. Will you be making another one? If so how long do you think it will take to come out?
I may in the future, maybe not I the form of an iceberg, but maybe a video exploring some of the stuff I wasn't able to fit in.
@@DylantheKnightOwl ok I’m very exited and looking forward to it. Thanks!
This channel is so criminally underrated, waiting for one of your videos to go viral any day now😈‼️
I really enjoyed this Dylan :D Nice Job!
i get so excited every time you post another part of this iceberg
I listen to some of your videos as I go to sleep and hearing Luigikid speak had me immediately up replaying the vid to make sure I wasn't crazy lol
If you were going to make a story with somebody with an illness you should probably do your research about it before adding a character with that illness into your story unless you have that illness yourself.
me: I hope he mentions funnymouth Dylan: *mentions funnymouth* me: 0)__(0
Really looking forward to listening to this.
absolutely gonna watch this once i'm waking up for work :) so excited
1:07:37 no shit, this actually hits because my mom always did this for me and my brother
I had ruby and he had sapphire
37:19. That music made me remember that damn Rugats Studio Tour PS1 game, from my childhood. I think I'm gonna dig it outta storage and give it a playthrough!
Thank you for uploading I can finally sleep listening to this.
lol your profile picture fits so well with this comment.
@@DylantheKnightOwl bahaha times be hard bruh
always a pleasure seeing you in my recommended
The funny thing about the Creepypasta Wiki (which, along with cataloguing pastas, is where quite a few make their debut) is that anyone can edit the pages, and therefore the stories.
I remember coming back to a story I'd read ages ago on there, only to find that parts of the text had been changed, and not for the better.
The funniest part was that the original author was complaining in the comment section, like "Hey, I may have been an edgy fourteen year old when I made this, but I did *not* write THAT crap!"
...The original Pasta was actually pretty good. Especially for something written by a kid. I wonder what the author's doing now...
Yea, the tomb crawling sequence is one of the only times a story has made me come close to puking out of shear discomfort.
ok, the home alone story got me good. ive got chills. didnt expect that twist even tho im pretty sure ive heard it before
Awesome content, one of my comfort YT'ers. All of these creepypastas are a nostalgia trip, awesome work!
Pokemon Black legit creeped me out so much even though it had no gore like the other Pokemon pastas.
Good video!
