I think Islam in lombok was not influenced by Ottoman Empire because the kingdom who has relationship with Ottoman Empire was Aceh Sultanate. One of reference i read, says that Islam in Lombok was spreaded by Sunan Prapen, son of Sunan Giri which part of 9 Sunan or 9 Saints that spreading Islam in Island of Java. Sunan Giri himself can be considered prince or one of last prince from Kingdom of Majapahit in eastern Java.

The only formal diplomatic relationship with Ottoman Empire was with Aceh Sultanate at the northern tip of Sumatra....for the rest of Indonesia, Islam was spread by traders and ulama from Middle East, India and China.

salam my dear sister. i'm from Malaysia, just a quick fix on your facts on how Islam came about in this region. my ancestor came from arabia land back in13th century. Islam came to this region by the islam missionary(if u can used that term) that are from the prophet progeny/family, Islam came here are not with the Ottoman empire, it spread organically by individuals and group of people that specifically for the purposes of spreading Islam. U can check it out thwe history of 'Wali Songo ' in Indonesia, Wali songo is the 10 brothers from progeny of Rasulullah that came to this region and spreading and teaching Islam.

Agreed from Bangladesh. We also learnt in school that Islam came in South east Asia through various arab traders and saints like it originally came to south asia like india, bangladesh, pakistan.
Even islam came in the Indian subcontinent during the lifetime of prophet Muhammad(pbuh).
