For me Rui is my favorite vocalist in game but people have different tastes so I guess that's why he didn't get top five but the OP said he got 6th highest votes which is pretty high.

It’s nothing serious- it’s just not allowing me to record well. No one wants a hoarse narrator, that’s just unpleasant. I just got a new treatment to try so I haven’t bothered with making a community tab announcement yet in hopes that it works and I can continue as if I wasn’t too seriously delayed. I’m hoping to at least do something with the responses I got in time for Vocaloid’s 20th anniversary in January because I got some really nice ones worth sharing. I refuse to let those go to waste. So either way expect something of it in that time frame. If I get to do what I want to it should be worth the wait.

Gehenna getting 4th place is shocking. I personally think it’s deserved but I didn’t think so many other people loved Gehenna! And then Shanti got high as well, so this is lowkey a wotaku sweep. Now we need a snooze MMJ cover that slaps so hard it gets the same recognition. Shrugging my arms at the best 2DMVs because it was to be expected. Love myself some Nightcord but I really think people were associating the song too much with the MV to make a probable verdict. Bug is a nice MV but definitely didn’t deserve to be so high on the list. The same goes for Lower. If anything, pick Tricologe as the best Nightcord 2DMV because it’s visually stunning. (And the lack of We’re Still Underground is kind of…) 3DMV yeah I’m happy with Samsa because I think it has fantastically made choreography. Though I think other picks like Romeo & Cinderella or Engeki should have gotten a mention. I don’t think Shoujo Rei should have gotten into the Top 10 3DMVs at all (but everything else it got into is deserved). Also very shocked that Toya didn’t even make it into the top 8 best vocals. I think he has the best vocal performance out of everyone in Project Sekai in terms of quality and control. Otherwise the results were fine!

Really happy with the Samsa results as a biased Kanade fan. I understand people being a bit irritated at it getting BEST song but being the best 3DMV is absolutely deserved. I don’t think a 3DMV has had as much of an impact as Samsa did when it first released and I LOVE it.

So nice to see Tucaca Tenha fans NOT have a bias toward him, and instead love everyone!!!! I love him the most, but everyone's so nice and all the characters have wonderful voices... Every group has wonderful songs, gorgeous videos (2D and 3D), it's all so fun!!! I'm honestly just happy to see most people who voted like him the most, and yet he barely appeared in the other categories

I can see what specific people voted for (only by number- not by like email or anything) and I went in to see what they voted for. Unfortunately it’s a mess to try to read it on the Google Sheet but the first of those that didn’t play had good taste (imo ofc) and was decently aware of comms (voting for Momoiro Key and Kashika as best for example). Unless selected as a joke I lowkey wanna know how they ended up here, but I won’t really go out of my way to pry. I only really included it as an option because I was curious to see if anyone would select it at all.

One of my friends (one of those 17 voters) is in the fandom yet she doesn't play any version because she sucks at rhythm games, but she does enjoy the songs and stories from the friends around her. She even brought lots more merchs than me who actually play the game 😂
DONKETSU IN TOP 50 I’M SO HAPPY IT DESERVES THE WORLD!!! Overall I’d say the audience’s taste improved tenfold over this year, especially with the MMJ placements :D (I wish Miracle Paint returned, but you can’t win them all, I suppose…). And the VS singer songs… I wish Odds and Ends had made it this year, but I suppose no one shares my very specific music taste. Ahaha, Rettou Joutou returns as the dishonorable worst Sekai song… I’m not surprised at Love ka’s placement, but I do question it a bit, especially when Patchwork Staccato exists. Oh my god, Inochi ni Kirawareteiru getting the placement it deserves in the top 10 of all alt vocals? I love you all… but I do question your tastes of having the alt vocals you did on the list. I’m surprised not a single Mizuki alt vocal made it on just from their sheer popularity, but Shizuku Shoujo Rei SWEEP! And of course Len returns with cillia’s plug-in for Lost One’s Weeping… I’m definitely going to be salty about those MV results, though. How did Engeki not make it in for best 3DMV? Why is the top 3DMV Samsa other than the obvious song bias? Why is Bug still top 2DMV despite it being objectively less impressive than Neo, Tokugawa Cup Noodle Prohibition, Journey, and even Darling Dance and Kirapipi Kirapika? How did Gunjo Sanka and Bokura Mada Underground miss out on a spot in the top 10 2DMVs again when they are also more impressive than Bug and even Lower? And I know most of the ones I voted for did at least get an honorable mention (if not a spot on the list), but I’m still really pissed at the obvious song bias. I know I started out with saying that people had a better taste this time around, but damn the Niigo bias was heavy this year, and it sucks. Also, what happened to the hall of fame that you said you were going to do?
Basically I scrapped the Hall of Fame because the only qualifying song that dominated in any way was Bug. I wasn't going to make a special section just for one song's performance. Tondemo stans' behavior inspired the need for it (voting for a 2DMV that didn't exist yet when I released the survey early to capitalize on a hit tweet) and it fell off hard. It ultimately felt unnecessary.
I can’t help but wonder if some of the voting did end up being influenced by Marce’s opinions, actually, considering the 6-place increase for Otome Dissection in comparison to last year, the stunning drop of Rui’s As You Like It from 1st to 6th place, Haruka’s Shoujo Rei at 5th place despite Haruka as a vocalist and character not being all that popular, Mafuyu’s Usseewa overtaking her Bug cover by a lot (granted, I was also a part of that, but still…), and maybe even Ena’s MKDR cover’s popularity. On a side note, I think it’s really neat how the “favorite character” section has every character in one of their 3DMV commissions, as well as a lot of them wearing outfits from either one of their focus events or their colorfes.

I love the funny loud guy the most, but I have something to love in everyone!!! I think they meant the original SEKAI cover... It's (imo) bad... Ichika sings in a high pitch, Shiho sings in a low LOW pitch, they don't match at all... If only they were in the same pitch... Also I think people love Shiho's cover of Kagerou Daze, which got in the top 5 favorite ALT covers!

Great to see the siblings (besides the Tenmas) take over for top 5 vocalists! Mizuki in 1st was expected, but I don't have a problem with it. Definitely seeing a niigo bias but, again, I can respect it. I do wish the bug 2DMV hadn't ranked so high, though.
Bummed Gekokujou and Engeki missed top 50, but I imagine if it was extended to top 100 at least one of them would have made it (please don't actually tell me so I won't be disappointed). Pleasantly surprised to see Bug dethroned after last year (still deserves its high ranking because it's very good, it's just not necessarily the best song in the game anymore), and If making it this high. AND VOICES MADE THE TOP 50 Nomad best Ena song real and I'm happy Bug did deserve the 2DMV win imo, it's a good one Shoujo Rei also deserved being up so high (also getting both alt vocals as top 10) ...and I just realized every Shiho and Rui commission up to 3rd anniversary made top 50 I am a firm believer that Lost One's Weeping wouldn't be nearly as bad if Rin had her original tuning AND Ichika sang lower like Shiho. Gehenna getting 4th place is shocking. I personally think it’s deserved but I didn’t think so many other people loved Gehenna! And then Shanti got high as well, so this is lowkey a wotaku sweep. Now we need a snooze MMJ cover that slaps so hard it gets the same recognition.
Shrugging my arms at the best 2DMVs because it was to be expected. Love myself some Nightcord but I really think people were associating the song too much with the MV to make a probable verdict. Bug is a nice MV but definitely didn’t deserve to be so high on the list. The same goes for Lower. If anything, pick Tricologe as the best Nightcord 2DMV because it’s visually stunning. (And the lack of We’re Still Underground is kind of…)
3DMV yeah I’m happy with Samsa because I think it has fantastically made choreography. Though I think other picks like Romeo & Cinderella or Engeki should have gotten a mention. I don’t think Shoujo Rei should have gotten into the Top 10 3DMVs at all (but everything else it got into is deserved).
Also very shocked that Toya didn’t even make it into the top 8 best vocals. I think he has the best vocal performance out of everyone in Project Sekai in terms of quality and control. Otherwise the results were fine!

Really happy with the Samsa results as a biased Kanade fan. I understand people being a bit irritated at it getting BEST song but being the best 3DMV is absolutely deserved. I don’t think a 3DMV has had as much of an impact as Samsa did when it first released and I LOVE it.

I can see what specific people voted for (only by number- not by like email or anything) and I went in to see what they voted for. Unfortunately it’s a mess to try to read it on the Google Sheet but the first of those that didn’t play had good taste (imo ofc) and was decently aware of comms (voting for Momoiro Key and Kashika as best for example). Unless selected as a joke I lowkey wanna know how they ended up here, but I won’t really go out of my way to pry. I only really included it as an option because I was curious to see if anyone would select it at all.

One of my friends (one of those 17 voters) is in the fandom yet she doesn't play any version because she sucks at rhythm games, but she does enjoy the songs and stories from the friends around her. She even brought lots more merchs than me who actually play the game 😂

DONKETSU IN TOP 50 I’M SO HAPPY IT DESERVES THE WORLD!!! Overall I’d say the audience’s taste improved tenfold over this year, especially with the MMJ placements :D (I wish Miracle Paint returned, but you can’t win them all, I suppose…). And the VS singer songs… I wish Odds and Ends had made it this year, but I suppose no one shares my very specific music taste. Ahaha, Rettou Joutou returns as the dishonorable worst Sekai song… I’m not surprised at Love ka’s placement, but I do question it a bit, especially when Patchwork Staccato exists.
Oh my god, Inochi ni Kirawareteiru getting the placement it deserves in the top 10 of all alt vocals? I love you all… but I do question your tastes of having the alt vocals you did on the list. I’m surprised not a single Mizuki alt vocal made it on just from their sheer popularity, but Shizuku Shoujo Rei SWEEP! And of course Len returns with cillia’s plug-in for Lost One’s Weeping…
I’m definitely going to be salty about those MV results, though. How did Engeki not make it in for best 3DMV? Why is the top 3DMV Samsa other than the obvious song bias? Why is Bug still top 2DMV despite it being objectively less impressive than Neo, Tokugawa Cup Noodle Prohibition, Journey, and even Darling Dance and Kirapipi Kirapika? How did Gunjo Sanka and Bokura Mada Underground miss out on a spot in the top 10 2DMVs again when they are also more impressive than Bug and even Lower? And I know most of the ones I voted for did at least get an honorable mention (if not a spot on the list), but I’m still really pissed at the obvious song bias.
I know I started out with saying that people had a better taste this time around, but damn the Niigo bias was heavy this year, and it sucks. Also, what happened to the hall of fame that you said you were going to do?
Basically I scrapped the Hall of Fame because the only qualifying song that dominated in any way was Bug. I wasn't going to make a special section just for one song's performance. Tondemo stans' behavior inspired the need for it (voting for a 2DMV that didn't exist yet when I released the survey early to capitalize on a hit tweet) and it fell off hard. It ultimately felt unnecessary.
I can’t help but wonder if some of the voting did end up being influenced by Marce’s opinions, actually, considering the 6-place increase for Otome Dissection in comparison to last year, the stunning drop of Rui’s As You Like It from 1st to 6th place, Haruka’s Shoujo Rei at 5th place despite Haruka as a vocalist and character not being all that popular, Mafuyu’s Usseewa overtaking her Bug cover by a lot (granted, I was also a part of that, but still…), and maybe even Ena’s MKDR cover’s popularity.
On a side note, I think it’s really neat how the “favorite character” section has every character in one of their 3DMV commissions, as well as a lot of them wearing outfits from either one of their focus events or their colorfes.

Great to see the siblings (besides the Tenmas) take over for top 5 vocalists! Mizuki in 1st was expected, but I don't have a problem with it. Definitely seeing a niigo bias but, again, I can respect it. I do wish the bug 2DMV hadn't ranked so high, though.
Bummed Gekokujou and Engeki missed top 50, but I imagine if it was extended to top 100 at least one of them would have made it (please don't actually tell me so I won't be disappointed). Pleasantly surprised to see Bug dethroned after last year (still deserves its high ranking because it's very good, it's just not necessarily the best song in the game anymore), and If making it this high.
