The trend of having a 1min Sponsor Segment is just...wonderful
An EDC item for international travel that I almost never see covered is a good key ring system; as, it's common traveling in Asia to have random keys for a scooter and accommodations with a wide variety of door lock keys (literally all shapes and sizes). I prefer a carabiner to attach to a belt loop with a tether that's long enough to fit into my front pants pocket. This way it's always on me and I don't have to be concerned with losing keys when out exploring.
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
ridge keycase
That locking carabeaner is a nice idea now to find the nonknockoff decent version
My EDC at home and abroad is my Nanobag! It stuffs into itself and is SUPER small and lightweight. I keep it in my small sling and it barely takes up any space. It’s very handy esp here at home in Hawaiʻi because all places charge for bags.
Great video as always! I'm trying to think back to a video, where Eric wasn't cast as "the Thief" in the b-roll. You are getting typecast, man! 😛
Just wait a few weeks, Brandon! 😂
@@PackHacker 8*) Hahaha! Can't wait!
I noticed the Alpaka Metro Backpack cameo. Glad you're testing it, I've been really happy with mine (also in green).
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
I always wonder about all the backpack names in the background
Paper £10 haven't seen them for a long while damn.
That cute Roaring Fire pouch might work as a dog walking pouch… I have been looking for something with belt loops to attach to my dog walking leash-belt that doesn’t scream dog walker.
Is there a long version of your coat? I like the long style like her puffy coat, but I like the packability of yours!
We'd love to see a comparison of travel-friendly yoga mats. You have a blog post mentioning a few, but seeing them in action would be even better!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
Does anyone know what the green backpack is on the wall in the back ground? (On the top row)
i have lost at least 10 hard water bottles on trips because i used to insist on having a solid water bottle--definitely gonna have at o try a collapsible one for sure.
Despite their price, vapur water bottles have always lasted me at least 3-5 years each time. I'm a loyal fan of them
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
Have you ever checked out Scottevest?
Could you do a video that highlights alternatives for past recommendations that have been discontinued? Thanks
Yes, I noticed that some brands discontinue really popular, but not expensive gear.
Osprey for example changed their packable backpack.
I'm using one for spontaneous shopping, or a big packing cube/ dirty laundry/ daypack when traveling.
But the new option is 25€ pricier (nearly doubled) and not as light.
Tatonka had a really nice small wallet - and "made improvements", so it's 10€ more and not as good...
In comparison with other brands the prices are still fine though - I'll never be able to pay for bellroy, air...
Would love it if the price is displayed in the video - so you know if you can afford it.
I wonder if PH ever did a review for camera filter cases? I'm looking for a case that holds at least 6- 82mm circular filters. I found a case that I am thinking of buying. It's the
MindShift Gear Filter Hive Storage Case. I'm not sure if there is anything better than this one. Great video and I always check your channel before I make any traveling product.
well..their recommendation is to leave the camera at home and just take the phone so...probably not the place to look for that...
Thank you
Hi, why you never talk or write about the item's price?
See thumbnail, click like!
🤙🤙🤙
That carabiner with a key is a huge no-no for me, another thing to lose and i’d never be able to open the carabiner again unless i buy the key again(if they even sell it separately)
got to keep precious McLovin safe always
😂😂😂
How do you wash the inside of the Vapur roll up water bottle?
You don't lol
@@ShugoAWay So it’s just going to go a little skunky after some time…huh?
Swirl some dish soap around in it, it’s only water going into it
You can put it in the dishwasher! We go over cleaning it in the full review: packhacker.com/travel-gear/vapur/eclipse-water-bottle/
@@PackHacker ah cuz everyone has a dishwasher available at the motel/hotel/ab&b lol
Still looking for a packable messenger bag
🧐🧐🧐
what is this backpack at 5:50 and another one 7:00
What is it called
?
Not me rewinding to 0:52 and going full screen to make sure I got the joke....
Mc Lovin, an organ donor from Hawaii.
Solid eater egg
😂😂😂
I like when he says it's a back pack for a teddy bear! 🤣🤣
I don’t understand why you recommend these items that all have pretty lukewarm reviews on your site.
Its all relative, an 8 out of 10 rating from PH basically means it's among the best in its category. Everything above 7 is a product that is worth buying if it fits your needs
Easy cuz they are not looking to advertise the best working, they advertise whatever pays them the most (usually the gen 3 knockoff) but is useful to then find the original it copied that has better stitching, longer battery, no 3rd party mark up, or other features they cut corners on
My face EDC is a credit card.
Except that Rosetta Stone does not cover the languages for some places where I travel. It doesn’t cover Thai, or Khmer, or Sinhalese, Vietnamese, or Lao.
Or Swiss German.
Or Tibetan @@CoreyDiMauro
why does this have no views?
It doesn't!
multitool wallet seems… problematic. Who would want the spiky bit corners poking you as you sit? Getting caught on pocket etc… just not a good solution to a problem that doesn’t exist
On the daily 🤮
