Honestly, only change I would make would be to consider a front & rear BP type bagpack. My EDC backpack only extras are a few extra med/first aid items... but I'm also TCCC/Trauma certified.. epi pen, nitro tabs, aspirin(I'm allergic to it, but they'll save a chest pain MIperson)
I have a fair amount of extra in my EDC bag but that's because I drive a septic pump truck for a living so I am not near my vehicle for most of the day, so my back is more of an ecd/get home bag because i try to keep the 5 Cs in it, I think your bag as a basic EDC is great and i am really glad you are trying to remind people you don't have to pack every bag for the apocalypse.
I'd probably change out the sawyer mini for the sawyer squeeze. It's only a few dollars more, has a better rate of flow and can be back flushed for cleaning a lot easier than the mini.
This bag looks way more like a space alien's idea of what a inconspicuous backpack is. Using this instead of something like any osprey book bag, or most maxpedition tactical bags for that matter spies trying to do all of their work out of a giant matte black panel van instead of just using commuter cars in random colors. The "sanitized equipment" look is so extreme that it loops back to making you look like a cop.
Great idea on the plastic on the bottom!! Depending on the corners of the plastic you may want to round them off so the points do not wear holes in the bottom of the bag
Since I took the bus to college which was far from home, my college backpack had snacks, aspirin/caffeine, antacid tablets, tissues, paper towels, comb, q-tips, flashlight, multitool, nail clippers, and hand sanitizer. I never used my plastic knife or band aids, but gave them to people who did need them. There was also a small towel to dry my rain poncho which I kept in a plastic grocery bag. The dollar store sells a locker mirror which is a good size for backpacks, but I never had a mirror back then. I had vending machines around and Dunkin, so I never carried water on me, but I sometimes had some canned coffee. If I had a modern EDC bag, I would include deodorant and socks, and maybe a change of clothes.
I don't like stuff in my pockets so on top of what you carry my bag has chapstick, a multi tool, a silcock key, deodorant, sunscreen (fair skinned kids) and a few gallon sized Ziploc bags. The ziplocks are handier than I would've ever thought, especially when my kids were younger. Still a lot of room to spare as I keep a get home bag ( I work 70 miles from home) packed to the gills in my truck.
I recently started using a backpack for my edc, everywhere I go it goes with me. What struck me the most is how seemingly small and light things add weight to the bag. It was surprising, at least to me!
I had a swiss army laptop bag for 13 years it was sooo heavy duty and awesome. I carried it every day on my bicycle riding around the city. Always having a bag is nice 👍
I carry the same bag every day. I like it for the same reasons. Very simple, but functional. And I don’t stuff it to the gills so I can actually use it on a day to day basis effectively. I carry a small little tool kit with me in mine just because that seems to come in handy a bunch. I got a 3 mag holder from maxpedition to put in that same middle pocket to carry some extras just in case anything crazy were to ever go down.
I carry a vertex ready pack 2.0 as my EDC bag with a body armor panel. I keep it mostly empty like you so I can fit a laptop or sweatshirt in it if needed. It only has some basics I use everyday like gloves, ski mask (winter), a first aid kit & TQ, phone charger, and snacks, the only thing I should maybe downsize and is my lifeguard CPR mask and my little bag of parachord, ductape, headlamp, and multitool. I could probably keep that stuff in my car and add it in a get-home situation. However instead of a separate get home bag I have 3 1 gallon ziplock bags in my car with get home gear and a sleeping bag or wool blanket/ woobie bedroll depending on the season that I can tie to the bottom of the backpack. I've timed myself and I can take out my work laptop/folders and replace it with the get home gear in about 30 seconds to a minute.
That’s very practical. Only things I’d add are some “gas station pkgs” of Advil, Tylenol, benedryl (especially benedryl), and tums/rolaids. Just those little foil packs with one dose. Oh, and an airplane size of some high-test whiskey. Ya never know ;)
I use a small hard shell medication travel case. It has like 6 small compartments and 2 larger compartments all with individual doors. Holds a good variety. I think I have mine loaded with advil, naproxen, Tylenol, Benadryl, Imodium, pepto bismol tablets, antacids. I even put labels on the doors so I know what I have.
The only thing I would add is headlamp for those times you need both hands free. I keep 5 cheap little headlamps from Walmart to pass out when needed. The ones I get are about 1.00 each and I keep them in a ziploc bag.
Love this. I struggle with the “pack all the things” and then can’t use my bag for real life because of SHTF prep when I’m struggling to fit my work laptop lol. Good ideas for a more modest EDC carry bag
Jan sport for forty bucks is lower profile. Anything that says map edition or 511 or other company gonna make you a target. Simple well made jansport or llbean bag gives an advantage.
One problem I have with all my bags and kits is I can’t resist the urge to add “just one/two/three more things, ya never know”. Then I end up with an EDC in my pocket that’s a little bulky and backpacks that are a little too full and heavy. I can’t whittle things down very well.
I like it. I use a cheap primary arms sling bag for edc. 3 mag pouches built in. Cheap. Light. Extra socks and an ifak refill bag. Cheap, light. Normal looking. I wear boots and tall, clean and dry socks as an extra are a must. Tru spec builds mag pockets into their pants. 6 total mags.
The rural Dollar General ranks right up there with the spice mines of Kessel as one of the most dangerous places known to man... stay strapped or get clapped.
I would recommend a permanent marker/pen, hemostatic gauze, trauma shears , chest seals, and a cable for your phone (maybe a 3 way (micro usb, type c, lightning). And a little roll of duct tape.
Mine has 2 3A panels with straps that can be worn as a vest. Water is metal to double as a boiler. Contractor trash bag doubles as a shelter, poncho or sleeping bag with a space blanket. Small survival kit (fits in a soap box)field dressing , cravat and epi pen. I edc a pen light, Gerber tool on my belt and Spyderco in my pocket along with my edc 9. I rotate some kind of food like jerky, e bar or small boat ration. Usually carrying a laptop and files in the main. I sometimes wish it had a waist band.
That little hook for your keys in your middle pouch is an awesome spot you hang one of those super small watch battery keychain lights. I just did that a few days ago on my bag and I’ve needed it several times a day. I have an olight one that’s good but there are some cheap ones for 3.99 at Cabelas that are plenty good. I just bought a bunch of them to attach inside bags and pouches
Sawyer mini screws onto any conventional bottle mouth besides ones like Gatorade or the this store brand water bottles. From 8 oz bottles to 2 liters it will work. I have even put mine on the end of a hose and also right on a house's spigot. This is the best way because you can filter that into a bottle then screw the Sawyer onto the bottle then drink through it again for double filter. Another great feature is the ability to set it up inline on your camelback!
On another topic, has anyone noticed yet that they have put Dollar General stores at every choke point (check point) in rural America? Even in places they can’t possibly be profitable?
Love it. Booboo kit to round off the IFAK Hygiene bag, deodorant with a small travel tooth brush/paste to pair with the baby wipes One of the SOS emergency ration bricks Change of socks These extra items dont really take up a lot of space, nor has weight (Ration bars will be the heaviest item).. if you want to get really crazy get a merino wool tshirt and you have an EDC bag you can use to sleep over anywhere you go and maintain cleanliness and provide all the basics.
Great video! I used “Komatex” ( PVC Foam Board) I custom cut. I attached Velcro ( loop side only ) tape to it and I can add more pouches! One of which I use for a first-aid/trauma kit. Been looking for something to use for a ballistic armor backing! Thanks for showing it in the video!
As a purse carrying woman I sometimes envy men their backpacks 😂. Of course I have a couple of "fashionable" pack/purse but I sometimes feel silly carrying both... but I do it. Whatever your lifestyle being without my EDC is u thinkable. Love the model you're showing.
Why do you use a purse instead of anything else? Most of the things I see women carrying in purses are things that would probably be easier and more comfortable to carry in pockets if they had pants with practical pockets and if they were to ditch things like "women's" wallets for plain bill folds. Anything else like a jacket or umbrella or water bottle is going to be awkward to carry in a hand bag compared to in a backpack, and having a purse (or messenger bag for that matter) overloaded with heavy stuff if going to do all sorts of bad things to your neck and back over time.
One thing I'd do is add another tourniquet. I Rock 2 in any bag that I EDC these days, due to the growing likelihood of active shooters or violent events. Love the water setup. I don't carry a laptop that often so the armor plate is a good idea. I like your loadout.
EDC with kids, it’s nice to practice like having a little camp stove and metal cups with some coco and tea to practice on short hikes to build their endurance. Definitely need a little more food if u have a kid and an extra change of clothes for them. Nice to have a small kit for them that they don’t usually get to use like kid binoculars, compass, storm whistle, bug off wipes, small lantern or mini flashlight they can call their own and play with during practice and real time.
In my edc bag, I have many similar items. I would add an extra layer of clothing for sudden temperature changes and downpours. A Patagonia Houdini jacket, a pair of aviator gloves and a buff weigh almost nothing and take up little room. I throw in a ball cap if I am going to be outside a long time. Also with kids, I keep a cleanup pouch in my bag of wet ones, dude wipes, etc. and a small towel. Plus always an ouch pouch type first aid kit in addition to the trauma kit.
Im starting to lean to a sizeable EDC bag but kept light weight while having a get home bag/small BOB left in my vehicle with most the emergency prep. Then in an emergency i can grab and go or if i have time i can merge them and dump any non essentials if i end up on a trek home. A good idea to balance getting stuck away from the vehicle and actually being able to use your bag for EDC without it bogging you down. When something is heavy you wont actually carry it.
Well, I Have A Blue Ozark Trail Large Capacity Backpack And A Blue Outdoor Products Utility Duffle Bag And Black Military Tactical Drop Leg Bag With Sleeping Bag And My Tent. And More Tent Pegs.
Don’t know if anyone will see this since I’m super late to the party, but I always carry a little pocket possibles pouch from Tuff Possum Gear that holds; hair bands, Bobby pins, jewelry backers, safety pins, clothing tape, a travel tube with various OTC meds like aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, nexium, Benadryl etc. A tampon and or pad. Victorinox nail clippers with a diamond file. Single use eye drops, uncle bills sliver gripper tweezers. A bit of duct tape wrapped around a strip of old credit card so it’s flat. Small vial of super glue. Some flossers. Mini zip ties. A mini bic lighter. Straight pin… I think that’s it. These things come in handy if you have any women in your life, you can save the day.
So my edc living situation as an over the riad trucker is that everything i need is on my truck. But i live thus udea of simple edc (and im guilty of over carrying stuff). I would simply add a few items like what you would find in the small SOL kit (survival blanket, basic fire starter kit, etc). I definitely would add a sillock key for any urban environment. My personal hag needs work (reduction) but i have a combined ESEE survival pouch - the smaller version) combined with the SOL kit mentioned above, a metal cup and a few other odds and ends. Just incase i needed to avoid civil unrest.
😮isnt TEMU like tiktok where China is stealing your info by now being able to have access to everything on your computer or phone once you download their app or shop on their site?
edc bag feature for me most important is able to carry coffee cup and water on outside of bag....i also carry more medical ifak and boo boo kit..battery bank..tissues,wipes and snacks.... and its armored as well..Flak Pak no firearm related as may be seperated
I carry my EDC in my camo pockets and on my waist belt. The only problem I see with a separate EDC is that you might set it down and forget it or someone might steal it as soon as your head is turned. A person can get lost in a crowd very quickly! I'll stick with what I have on me and my BOB/camping bag! To each his own!
If you are going to do that, get the one with the ballistic lining that stops up to 44 magnum and is so thin you’d never notice that feature. Commented a bit prematurely. You got a panel separately. Can get them built in.
Ogres have layers!... Ogres and preppers!!! I too have multiple layers of EDC bags and backpacks. My daily one is just a plain Grey edc bag.. by Leatherbag Gear (3a) front and back. With room to park travel gear.. it's my fly bag for plane/foreign travel.
my setup is similar but I use a backpack made by Two wheel gear the bag itself has hooks that allows you to clip it ti the rack on a bike. As i bike to work every day (for me it's faster and cheeper) best part is the bag is extremely low key because it screams "Bicycle bag" and not tactical
A refreshing review of an EDC bag. And yes, I also like the distinction between a BOB and an EDC. Great contents in the bag as well. I guess I'm gonna have to have some of those items you presented, especially the beef jerky!
hmm the sawyer filters unbranded from china are like 2 bucks and you can get a hand pump version that comes with some tubes so you can use it stand alone or with a hand pump if you have to filter a bunch of water. the filter and handpump is 21bucks. theyre all the same mfg, probably made in the same factory. activated carbon seperated by ceramic filter with a bunch of molecular sieves with + and - polarity like you get in aquarium filters. i build my own powerbanks out of replacment ipad 2/ipad3 batteries that i cut up into 3 flat sections. theyre pretty much the highest density flat battery you can get which test out at ~15 wh, all 3 stacked up are about the size of a deck of cards. the one you showed in this video tests out at about 27wh. i like selecting my own powerbank boards, and 3d printing a parameter and then screwing them into a sheet of stainless steel i cut with heat stake inserts. way thinner than anything you can get on scamazon. i really like the "IP5328P" board, theyre like $2 ea
My edc bag is legit my edc bag. It's an old osprey backpack from college. Everything I would need in it sleeps and stays in my truck and I can just move it into the bag
💯 - I think your pack is perfect for you, dad. I have one set up very similarly to yours, including bandaids and sanitizer spray. (I thank the Lord we're no longer potty training 😏). Mine's not as nice as yours, but still decent quality. I also use mine for the gym and hiking on weekends... So, definitely water in outside pocket (two bottles when with family) snacks, and a way to start a fire (i.e. ranger lighter) if needed-- I think every man should carry that, regardless if you smoke--which I don't. Like you, I don't like off body carry. But when we're together--in addition to my IWB--I always carry my wife's 9mm w/extra mag for her jic. She's not yet comfortable with on body carry, but she's well trained and she'll have my back if bad things happen while we're out
Can't go wrong with more medical. Having some armor is cool. I can always pass my bag off to the wife or kids if things get dangerous and at least they have something.
@@MagicPrepper Hey MP, couple of other things you might like for your edc bag! 1. Mini butane torch ($10-$30) (great for sealing plastic/polyester clothes, emergency fire, possibly good for “distractions” if things go crazy) 2. Weltool W3 Pro Tac (expensive - $300) (HYPER THROW flashlight that is straight up dangerous - ~568,000 candela conservatively). This is an actual self defense weapon that would be great if you wanted to give your wife/kids some form of self defense in an emergency where a firearm is not suitable/available. Allows you to identify anything that 10x binos can see (not an exaggeration) - I personally EDC this based on the capabilities it gives me and have one for my duty belt. 3. Knipex Cobra ($30) - edc adjustable pliers (either 4” (XS) or 5”). Far better leverage than multi tools and super easy to carry especially in an edc bag. Lots of people actually carry them in their pockets. 5” would probably be better for a bag. 4. Headlamp - any will do, however my personal favorite for “bougie” is the Fenix HM65R-T ($110) for output, dual bulb (flood/spotlight), usb c charging, intensity adjustment, etc. Great little durable headlamp. 5. Set of hand warmers with gloves to put them in. Can be a life saver if you get stuck in the cold. Cheap disposables are fine if you don’t want to spend more than a couple bucks. 6. Nitecore MH12 Pro ($90) - 3300 lumen compact light (I know, I know, enough with the lights lol) - ridiculous value in a super compact size; perfect edc “do all” light. Hopefully this gives you some ideas you might like! And PS - seriously check out that hyper throw light if you get a chance. It is 100% permanent blindness if you get that shined in your eyes from within 30 yards. It is the only thing out there like it. It is also the only (non lethal) self defense tool I can think of that can be used against road rage attackers by just shining it in any of your rear view mirrors. Use with caution if you get it! And be sure to get the “Tac” version if you do! Thanks for all the content you bring us :)
Swap out the Cat Tourniquet with a Rat Tourniquet. The Cat can't be applied to little ones, but the Rat can. Since it's a backup, it's less of a trade off.
Snivel kit: 1st aid with aspirin, ointment, anti-diarrheal, etc in small adventure kit Mirror Magnifying glass & tweezers Maybe an optic boresnake for cell phone? (usually just a cable attachment) All small, light, and incredibly useful when needed having raised 4 kids...each has its use 😂
Remember socks. Talking from experience, had to walk home during summer for 16 km (ish 10 miles) I would kill for pair of good thicker socks not just super thin summer ankle socks
No side water bottle slot? Im looking for something one step up from a plastic shopping bag... to carry a 32 ounce water bottle, a power bank, wall charger, 2 granola bars, a Multi tool, and a small simple booboo kit (bandaids, neosporin, tweezers, nailcutter with file), empty room to put a windbreaker if needed.... Must have 2 sidepockets that fit a 32 ounce Nalgene water bottle for all day hydration. Any suggestions on a cheap durable sling type bag/haversack? Not s backpack. Anyone?
I’m a huge advocate for BOBs & GHBs but I honestly don’t see the benefit of yet another bag like an EDC bag. It could have to do with the fact that my GHB is always with me or in my vehicle anyways. I have med/extra ammo/mini Sawyer/extra socks/power bank to charge my phone or someone else’s should mine be at a high percentage. Ofc I’m breaking one of the cardinal rules. I’m commenting b4 making it to the end of the video so we’ll see if it bites me in the ass b4 I get back to finish it here after bit. It’s of mo that we can have bag over kill, I know bc my wife made me take stock of how many bags I had acquired within a 6 month span lol. I’ve got GHBs for my wife & me & BOB for the both of us as well. We pray to never ever use them. I’m sure I’ll regret commenting b4 finishing the video but nonetheless as always keep up the great work MP!!! Ur one of the really genuine good guys left out here in the vastness of debauchery & carnal sin that is the Internet 🤜🤛
Walking around everyday in America with two tourniquets, a bulletproof armor plate, a water filtration tube, and no band aids. Men go the therapy challenge.
An EDC bag wouldn't have as much as a get home bag or bug out bag. Just how it is. No two bags will be exactly the same. I'd have a flashlight, first aid kit, spare keys, Swiss Army Knife, pens, phone charger, batteries for the light and maybe Pepper Gel.
What would you change about my EDC bag? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Good point!
No smoke bombs or a grappling hook? You're slacking Magic. Slacking.
Forgot my boomerang too 😓
@MagicPrepper oh wow I actually own a couple boomerangs. They return too. Made by Vic boomerangs from New Hampshire.
"Charlie Bronson's always got a rope. In the movies, they've always got rope and they always end up using it."
ATF just outlawed smoke
Grappling hook on a rope is a good idea! Maybe in the vehicle.

A good bag is hard to beat
SLACKING!!!...lol@@MagicPrepper
I think I probably have that same Swiss Army bag. Mine’s about that same age and is still going strong. Been thinking of using it for this very thing.
I like this Guy. He Is about The Most Realistic EDC Preper I have seen.
I carry the same bag every day. I like it for the same reasons. Very simple, but functional. And I don’t stuff it to the gills so I can actually use it on a day to day basis effectively. My EDC is very minimal, a power bank, key chain flashlight, pocket knife, field watch, tactical pen and lock pick kit

I use a Bulletproof Everyone Bag for edc. Those bags have a built in level 3A armor and look like normal bags so it doesn’t draw attention.
Cool I'll check those out
I would recommend a permanent marker/pen, hemostatic gauze, trauma shears , chest seals, and a cable for your phone (maybe a 3 way (micro usb, type c, lightning). And a little roll of duct tape.

Sew a waist band on!

I have that same bag, but in grey and it is my EDC bag. I can fit all of my IT tools, my computer and some extras. I love it!
It's an awesome bag

100% they put them in our area and they stay slow and unwelcome. Intense security steps on weird cheap crap. Weird vibes.
Love it.
Booboo kit to round off the IFAK
Hygiene bag, deodorant with a small travel tooth brush/paste to pair with the baby wipes
One of the SOS emergency ration bricks
Change of socks
These extra items dont really take up a lot of space, nor has weight (Ration bars will be the heaviest item).. if you want to get really crazy get a merino wool tshirt and you have an EDC bag you can use to sleep over anywhere you go and maintain cleanliness and provide all the basics.

As a purse carrying woman I sometimes envy men their backpacks 😂. Of course I have a couple of "fashionable" pack/purse but I sometimes feel silly carrying both... but I do it. Whatever your lifestyle being without my EDC is u thinkable. Love the model you're showing.
Have you thought about those thigh strap purses? My wife has been looking at those and they seem pretty cool.
Definitely can't go wrong with 2 TQs
Great suggestions, I do similar
Im starting to lean to a sizeable EDC bag but kept light weight while having a get home bag/small BOB left in my vehicle with most the emergency prep. Then in an emergency i can grab and go or if i have time i can merge them and dump any non essentials if i end up on a trek home.
A good idea to balance getting stuck away from the vehicle and actually being able to use your bag for EDC without it bogging you down. When something is heavy you wont actually carry it.
I've no problems with a backpack, but if you are using one for EDC your approach cannot be called 'minimalist'.
I like it.
The bag is nice. I wish it had a mesh water bottle pocket. My other complaint is the straps are really slick and slide off my shoulders pretty easily.
I think the bigger version has a bottle pouch. The straps are slick but at least they're durable.
Very well set up and no “fluff” like some. Well done and thank you
So my edc living situation as an over the riad trucker is that everything i need is on my truck.
Good vid for comparison. My CDC is on body. My sling bag is for get home items with ballistic panel for in case. Thx Magic
For online, I'd recommend TEMU due to their discounts.
😮isnt TEMU like tiktok where China is stealing your info by now being able to have access to everything on your computer or phone once you download their app or shop on their site?
edc bag feature for me most important is able to carry coffee cup and water on outside of bag....i also carry more medical ifak and boo boo kit..battery bank..tissues,wipes and snacks....
and its armored as well..Flak Pak
no firearm related as may be seperated
amen on the Moleskin! Foot issues are a very likely problem and no one seems to include moleskin in their EDC/get home kits.
It's the best.
Kits like this are sustainment filled for your Daily !
Gearup&go
I like to the idea of adding a Sawyer to your EDC bag. I carry a Grayl bottle, but the Sawyer is a great option.
Can vouch for Anker. I've had the same 20100's since 2014. 👍
They just work!
I dont smoke anymore but I like to have a pack on me. You'd be surprised at how much information someone would trade for a smoke
A refreshing review of an EDC bag. And yes, I also like the distinction between a BOB and an EDC. Great contents in the bag as well. I guess I'm gonna have to have some of those items you presented, especially the beef jerky!
Lots of stores and establishments don't allow backpacks
Solid looking bag, the quality comes thru the video very well. I got myself a 4" thick leather backpack, that looks pretty nice, & is also grey-man
Leather bags are pretty durable and have that low key look. Nice work.
hmm the sawyer filters unbranded from china are like 2 bucks and you can get a hand pump version that comes with some tubes so you can use it stand alone or with a hand pump if you have to filter a bunch of water. the filter and handpump is 21bucks. theyre all the same mfg, probably made in the same factory. activated carbon seperated by ceramic filter with a bunch of molecular sieves with + and - polarity like you get in aquarium filters. i build my own powerbanks out of replacment ipad 2/ipad3 batteries that i cut up into 3 flat sections. theyre pretty much the highest density flat battery you can get which test out at ~15 wh, all 3 stacked up are about the size of a deck of cards. the one you showed in this video tests out at about 27wh. i like selecting my own powerbank boards, and 3d printing a parameter and then screwing them into a sheet of stainless steel i cut with heat stake inserts. way thinner than anything you can get on scamazon. i really like the "IP5328P" board, theyre like $2 ea
My edc bag is legit my edc bag. It's an old osprey backpack from college. Everything I would need in it sleeps and stays in my truck and I can just move it into the bag
That first aid kit will come in handy at a dollar general. That place is always a 3000square foot trip hazard
She's not yet comfortable with on body carry, but she's well trained and she'll have my back if bad things happen while we're out
Nice could possibly round the edges of the plastic to prolong life of pack as well prevent punctures of sealed equipment? Just a thought😅
Mines full of medical supplies, mostly. I am looking for lightweight armor. Thanks Magic ✨ i will go check out Premier Body Armor
Would recommend Dayton if you’re looking for light plates! Definitely not budget friendly though, but that’s to be expected with top tier.
Can't go wrong with more medical. Having some armor is cool. I can always pass my bag off to the wife or kids if things get dangerous and at least they have something.
@@MagicPrepper Hey MP, couple of other things you might like for your edc bag!
1. Mini butane torch ($10-$30) (great for sealing plastic/polyester clothes, emergency fire, possibly good for “distractions” if things go crazy)
Goonbeam makes a great weapons and hand held lights. Veteran owned made in America. Great price 2!
I'll check it out
Swap out the Cat Tourniquet with a Rat Tourniquet.
The Cat can't be applied to little ones, but the Rat can.
Since it's a backup, it's less of a trade off.
Multi tool and flashlight must be on body?
Precisely
@@MagicPrepper NICE!! Same here Buddy!
Beings it's more of an EDC backpack an awesome idea would be a silcock key if you are in an urban setting. Just my 2 cents
Yes to the dad part! It seems to be always we woman who have to carry our edc and the kids stuff
🤜🤛
Snivel kit: 1st aid with aspirin, ointment, anti-diarrheal, etc in small adventure kit
Mirror
Magnifying glass & tweezers
Maybe an optic boresnake for cell phone? (usually just a cable attachment)
All small, light, and incredibly useful when needed
having raised 4 kids...each has its use 😂
And bandana or two
Maxpedition is key.
You know what is underrated?:
Burton.
Great video, I want to build a similar bag. Thank you.
Anytime!
Your reasoning for the refurbished battery bank is my reasoning for buying cars with 300k+ miles 🤙🏼
Sometimes it's nice to know it's been worked on 😀
@@MagicPrepper If it was gonna fail, it already has!
He's wrong about the refurbished being fixed, usually it means it's just cleaned and repackaged
Yeah, having room to carry stuff in your backpack is just good ol' commonsense.
Who would have thought? :)
Not a single pack of Goldfish or Z Bar for the kiddo? True prepared dads are ready for any meltdown, not just society. 😂
My kids like jerky more than I do
Remember socks. Talking from experience, had to walk home during summer for 16 km (ish 10 miles) I would kill for pair of good thicker socks not just super thin summer ankle socks
That's the glowiest of glow bags. A $20 walmart backpack is how you Greyman.
Meh, it's a black backpack. We give too much credit to the average person to think they'll even notice you're wearing a backpack.
What is more useful, full or empty bowl ?😊
Depends on whether or not you are about to fill it ;)
This is a great video brother 😎👍🏼 I need that armor plate
Hey thanks. Yea they make a ton of different sizes too!
Add a torch (flash light) God bless.
I'd add a multi tool/knife and sunscreen
Nice set-up M.P. Will a KelTec Sub-2000 fit in there?
I don't believe so. It would be better for something like a Flux Raider or an Uzi haha
@@MagicPrepper ;-)
Dad recognize dad. None of you understand how amazing it is to remember you have a diaper/pull up in your bag in an emergency.
Add a change of socks,
having dirty socks makes for a rough time walking back home uncomfortable
Where are you purchasing the refurbished Anker power banks from?
I use the 5.11 Rush 12 edc.
where can I find those refurbished power banks?
wait you guys need guns and body armor to go to the Dollar Store?
The pull-ups made me lol, been there done that. 😂
Just part of the deal! lol
Thanks for the kind words!
On my person I Cary some gear . in edc backpack more redundant items and increased sustainability that’s my plan.
Will that armor panel fit in the pdw area?
Unfortunately it will not
dc is what you have on you, a vehicle bag is different thing.

We can smell our own.
Bags aren’t allowed in my local Dollar General…for some reason….
It’s a very very common anti-shoplifting policy, in many places all over the world
Walking around everyday in America with two tourniquets, a bulletproof armor plate, a water filtration tube, and no band aids. Men go the therapy challenge.
Nice set up!
Much appreciated!
The dollar general 🤣🤣🤣🤣 love it!
Don't look away or another will appear
Subscribed. Thanks for the content.
Ever seen the Merrell sling bags?
I always have a knife on me but I throw a multi tool in my bag.
Great video!
Much appreciated.
