I have 3 S2000s and bought a Renegade Shifter back in 2019, still haven't installed it. You've convinced me that i should finally get to it. Thank you.
@@sdoismil Haha yup, i did the brass bushing upgrade aswell as other new components in the oem shifter and it made a difference and kept me happy. However i want to have more of a mechanical feel. Can't wait
Your video and reaction makes me want a Renegade shifter for my AP1! I'd probably keep the stock teardrop knob on it or get a CR knob though, that one you have is cool too :)
Thanks! Yup I got the CR knob also I’ll prob swap back and forth! I know with a lower knob it will feel even shorter. Maybe this season I’ll swap the knob out 😁
I’ll try it out this season if anything! Only thing I’m not sure on if I will like is because we need to run that but underneath so might not look the cleanest. We shall see.
Thanks man! Really appreciate it, I also wasn’t much of a fan but when I saw the car in person looked a lot better haha. The floor plate is from Checkered Sports. I could do a quick short video but if you go on their Instagram or website they will have more info available. Hope that helps and thanks for the sub man 🤗
O yeah that’s right Renegade sells them I got it from them haha. Good luck dude that would be a nice edition to the FK8. I’m really liking the look of the new type R! Wouldn’t mind getting my hands on one.
Hello @Sdoismil, so you installed the renegade brass shifter bushing on your OEM shifter setup. Did the brass bushing change the feel at all on the stock shifter? If so, how did it feel? Thank you.
Yea I did install it in the stock one but to be honest I did not notice much of a difference but I also had around 30k miles at the time. I have heard on higher mile cars that have not had the plastic bushing replaced you will notice a bigger difference.
No problem anytime! It could be with a more worn out OEM plastic one but since mine still has low miles it wasn’t much of a difference. If you OEM one is really worn out you will most likely notice a tiny difference lol
Hey bro if u don’t mind me asking what state and city u from ? I’m asking because I really like how green the environment where u live, I also have an s2000 AP1 !!
Thanks man! Yeah we really enjoy it! I have a few videos of just riding around on the motorcycle. Should also be dropping a new video on Wednesday of some driving in the S2k in some back roads! I’ll have to make it out to California one day too! Enjoy man!
Just came across your video, I been thinking of getting this shifter kit. Es portugues? Eu vivo em Fall River e tenho um red AP2, vai haver uma car meet no dia 30 de outubro em Swansea, MA.
Hey haha yes I’m Portuguese! That’s awesome I used to live in New Bedford now live in Rehoboth. Have you gone to the s2000 cars and coffee in Fall River before? Eu acho que vou ir no dia 30 mas talvez vou ir na milha mota 😁
@@sdoismil Nice man! Eu fui 2 vezes ao cars and coffee em fall river este verao. Costumo ir sempre ao cars and coffee em swansea, tem uma grande variedade de carros la, incluindo S2000's! Hope to see you there! Take care!
I got the LHD kit. I believe the RHD kit will not work if your S2000 is left hand drive. Once you get their short throw kit it comes with everything necessary to install it. Lmk if that helps!?

Holy crap dude! That’s a long time haha I have some parts that also have not gone on the car in years. It’s an easy install get to it!!! 😄

Hell yeah…Suzuka Gang!!! I drive a Suzuka Ap2, gonna enjoy watching this build🤘😎🤙

@@sdoismil thanks I saw where renegade has a similar product so I assumed that’s what it was. Currently eyeing an AP1 to partner with my FK8 Type R

More contents for the s2k?

What kind of front bumper cover do you have?
Like the front bumper itself? It’s the OEM bumper with the AP1 lip and a front splitter.
Oh ok thought it was oem but then I see the 2 holes on the sides.
Yup I have an AP1 😊
Ok I have the same one makes me wanna hook mine up same as yours loll
