For everyone asking about the swivel seat: UK Nissan nv200 owners have been using a VW (T4) seat swivel and modifying it a little bit (apparently you have to cut a tiny bit off of the corner to get to to swivel, doesn't affect structural integrity) Quite a few of the UK bloggers who own the van have made videos about it. Specifically Calum Gillies has a mention in a video where he shows the result and also on his website he has instructions and a materials list for this mod. I don't know how easily available the swivel base in the USA (or countries outside of Europe and UK) as I am in Germany and it is readily available here. Good luck everyone!
Hi, from Quebec in Canada. Also interested to know about the swivel seat. I have been told it was impossible to do without interfering with the air bags. Was it so for you? Would you be interested in installing one yourself in my van? Otherwise, information about the base and installation would Be appreciated. This would not interfere in any way with renting your own van in Florida. If you have time an answer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Danielle from the little white van in Canada.
@danie2300 The guy didn't answer, so I will: if you check out a lot of the bigger UK Nissan NV200 van UA-camrs a few of them have the instructions and infos. (one of them Calum Gillies has instructions on his website) There is a swivel seat base for the VW van (T4) which fits with some modifications (you have to file off one corner a little bit to make if fit, but it works!) Also, the swivel seat can only be swivelled in one direction and back to avoid messing up the cables to the airbags. Hope that helps!
thats the cutest van I ever seen!
nice conversion
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing this gem!
