Mark actually wrote this song in honor of his great-grandmother and her 3 sons. The sons all fought in World War 2, two made it back quickly, but the youngest remained until the war was over. I believe he found the letters in the attic and was inspired to write the song, which has won many awards, and the video you're watching was filmed to honor today's troops as well as veterans and those who never made it home. He ever performed the song for President Bush and was very loudly received I believe outside the Pentagon as he began this song.

I am a fan of all music and can tell you that the Christian music scene is incredible and even though there are tons and tons of reactors out there, almost none of them do reactions of Christian music, with the exception of Christmas or songs covered by popular artists.
