Had a problem with my Falcon oven door not closing properly. Could not work out how to remove the door for repair.
Looked up eSpares and low and behold there was a video of a door being removed on a Rangemaster which had
almost identical parts which I recognised. I followed the visual instructions and within 45 minutes had reinstalled
the repaired door. It now works perfectly thanks to eSpares-a great company, {who I buy from} just got even better!
    Thank you.

Hi. I cant replace the striker pin. I bought a new striker pin but it doesnt hold on to anything on the other side. The nut that you screw the striker pin unto has fallen away and I cant screw it back. Can you advice please.

The door striker is screwed into a captive nut known as a riv nut. A new one can be fitted from the front but you will need the right size riv nut and a riv nut gun. These are similar to a pop rivet fixing but are threaded on the inside ,for the striker pin to screw in.

So what do you suggest? Where can I find a riv nut gun and a riv nut. My model of oven is Logic.

Hi Claire, how to get the main door apart is described in your user manual but here it is
Carefully push the trim towards the oven.
Hold the door glass securely in place wit hone hand before sliding the glass out with
      the other hand.

Thank you, but I got the glass out for cleaning, it's getting the roller back inside the side part, which as far as I can see has no screws, it looks molded on. Oh well, never liked cooking anyway lol

Hi Claire, the roller usually would be held in by screws into the inner door frame and the catch would go into the oven panel and is threaded so just screws in.
