Hey guys! I hope this is useful, had a little bit of man-flu during this recording so apologies if my voice is struggling in places. Also forgive me for any paint names I butcher during this video!! Enjoy! Paints used are as follows; [Undercoat] - Wraithbone [Contrast Paints] - Guilliman Flesh, Gryph-Hound Orange, Wyldwood, Gore-Grunta Fur, Black Templar, Snakebite Leather, Militarum Green, Flesh Tearer Red, Skeleton Horde. [Drybrush/Metallics] - Leadbelcher, Nuln Oil, Gorthor Brown, Ushabti Bone. [Paints for Base] - Creed Camo, Moot Green (Drybrush), Shyish Purple, Rhinox Hide.
Looks really good. I haven't gone as far as doing drybrushing with my contrast minis so far but maybe I'll give it a go. Will definitely follow your tutorial though for the colours which is something I always struggle to choose being a colour blind person haha. Please do more warbands, It be great to have a tutorial for all the Beastgrave sets :D
Aha thanks! I'm usually terrible choosing colours too so I'm thankful for the more limited choices in the contrast range! I've got a few more of the warbands on hand so will keep them going! :)
Do you have an affiliate link for Deep Cut? Just gandered at their site and their mats look great and are surprisingly affordable. Plus, the most important part, you're vids are awesome and if I could throw some pennies your way, that'd be even better. Your brushing is terrifyingly accurate...it's not human...
Thanks! It's sat on my paint table at the moment but I'm leaning towards the Aggaros Dunes golden yellow colour for the body, and then the normal process and same drybrushes to finish. Hope that's useful!
T&G Productions thanks for the reply, I was considering the dunes as well, it is a very nice colour. Or just do the body and mane the same as the rest of the warband. Going to paint the others and then see!
Seeing these vids I cant imagine that there must be a reason for GW to make their Contrast vids especially lackluster. Seeing the GW vids won’t make me consider Contrast whereas these kinds of vids are surely more representative of the actual product then the stained look GW advertises. Maybe they dont want to set the bar to high?
@@tabletopandgaming That's sad that you didn't finish the entire warband. I just finished them today and I ended up doing Cygor Brown for the horse body and Aggaros for the cat thing.
