I have loved this channel for a while; but I find myself loving it increasingly. Moments like the moments in this video, where the chef is walking you around the whole property and explaining the origins of the food, are rare (even on Eater/Munchies/etc.) and thoroughly lovely. Please keep doing these.

Dear s3. This was another lovely watch! Your camera work is gorgeous as usual and its so nice to get a behind the scenes look into the kitchen, garden and history of the place. Here comes the part where I am tough on you again. The mic quality degrades your otherwise beautiful visuals. Theres a saying in audio work that eliminating a sound in a recording will always sound better than using a filter to remove it. Kind of obvious i know but worth mentioning. What you guys need are smaller butterfly mics, close to your mouths as you speak and perhaps a fuzzy to go on top for good measure. These are easiest to pair with a dictaphone rather than into the camera. These kinds of mics do a good job not picking up background chatter in restaurants etc. This I think would really bring your videos to the next level.
Again, you two are doing an amazing job and i look forward to watching every video with my partner. They get better and better every week. Much love.

@@S3Lifestyle I’m realizing now, perhaps the term butterfly mic doesnt quite translate to english as i intended haha. I meant to say- a Lavalier microphone. My apologies!
@@utahshore Oh haha! In that case, we do wear lavalier mics. You can see it on Adrian at the beginning when he's sitting down on the couch to start, under his tie and mine was hidden under my blazer! We'll try to bring them closer to our mouths moving forward, but depending on the rooms and restaurants, it's really hard to control the real-time noise. These restaurants get quite loud, and we're trying our best :)
So fresh and vibrant with a beautiful presentation. All the hard work that goes into running a restaurant of this caliber is quite impressive. Thank you for the tour!

First of all, the cream white blazer is absolutely beautiful! Love there are subtitles, so thoughtful! I wanna buy some of there dishes, interesting plates for entertaining! Very nice. Moor Hall was the home of my 12th Great grandfather, Peter Stanley. He acquired it about 1533 and he died there in 1592. The food looks delicious.

I remember being 7 years old and my Mom was cooking Spahgettios and she passed out and I called 911. The operator thought that it was joke but it was not. I went to the neighbors and finally she got help. Long story short those slow Cooked Spahgettios tasted good and I became a Chef.

Have you guys been using the same camera throughout all of your videos? It looks great in low light! Do you mind if I ask what camera you film with?
Yes, mostly! For 90% of our videos we’ve been using a Sony FX3. It totally sees in the dark haha.
You can see where they fall short of l,enclume no doubt they will get 3* but it’s in the future as the chEf grows. Funny enough the desserts contained the same flavors as enclume strawberry and cically
Similar ingredients, but completely different approaches and both equally as delicious and enjoyable!! We really hope they get their 3rd star!

I know Mark was executive chef for Simon at lenclume, which did you prefer?
Both very different experiences! In terms of the meal, we enjoyed L'Enclume just a little bit more but in terms of overall experience we enjoyed Moor Hall much more. Both restaurants though were stand out and both make it to our top and favourites restaurant list :)

@ThisIsS3 when I was a small child but I think there's only one main reason people go too cartmel 🤣 I've been too a few different starred restaurants the highlight be guy savoy in Paris before he lost his 3rd star, will be interesting too see how they both compare. 🤔
