Hello... i have gixxer 155 BS3 version. I bought it in year 2015. Now I have completed 148000 km running. The bike is absolutely fantastic comfort, pickup and mileage is also good. Still I am getting mileage of 50 kmpl in city and 55 kmpl on highway. I am completely satisfy with gixxer. Only one drawback is the back seat is not that comfortable for ladies.

Bike review thora jaldi kiya karo , I think gixxer is better looking then fz v3/apche160/xblade , bas ek hi kami hai iska pehle wala blue (single tone) agar launch kar dete toh shyad better dikjta
Yeh despite having more cheap competitors in the 150-160cc segment ,like the rtr,Xblade and Fz still the Gixxer stands segment leading motorcycle if compared to these 3 machine's, the Gixxer gives more milage less vibration and has a robust 155cc engine which churns out almost the same power like Fz and Xblade but has a much more qualified and refined engine,Yamaha Fz on the other hand it's home competitor has a comfortable pillion seat and also with a good refined engine it is also a very good machine but Gixxer engine has more punch and has power more than Fz.

This is a nice bike, with decent power and torque combination. I don't know why everyone are complaining the price. Compared to it's Japanese rivals it's price is decent.
People just comment without having complete knowledge. Even gixxers rivals have same price for FI version

This is maheshkanna from chennai i am a MBA student who have a DREAM to drive a gear bike.. i have spended more than 6 month in the terms of research in social media and other stuffs ..while i have finalized with the beauty of suzuki gixxer 155cc naked version because of style,engine refinement and durability also low vibration ..i have convinced my parents to take them to Suzuki showroom well its a pretty hard task because i am from middle class family ..Even though its priced 122000 lak in chennai and test rdoe in BS4 but bikes are out of stock..But right now i am very much disappointment with BS6 version reason for price increased more than 6000 rupees..
The way i loved gixxer cant explain in words.... I hope you can understand by emotion how i felt ..mean while its not a phase..its my life ..its not a hobby. its my passion to my gixxer ..NOW everything went into nightmares..also not only me most of the gixxer new consumer went into grief..PLEASE KINDLY TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO REDUCE THE BS6 VERSION PRICE... I WILL WAIT UNTIL YOU TAKE GOOD DECISION.

First of all, thanks for this honest review. I don't have much idea about bikes. But i have one question. There has been no kick provided. Won't it be a problem in winters to start this bike with an electrical switch if i don't use it for 3-4 days or more?
Same question from my side also
Bro these bikes are fi (fuel injected) so no cold start problem in winter,, bs6 bikes only have self start not kick. No problem with that.

I would definitely consider the Gixxer over FZ V3 (BS6)
1 Gixxer has a gear position indicator
2 Gixxer's Instrument cluster is wider and brighter
3 Gixxer's torque and power figures are impressive than FZ (which looks underpowered for the price)
4 The back is a stylist tail light LED instead of old fashioned halogen lamp the FZ gives
Apache is actually a very good bike but the riding posture being aggressive gives back pain and spinal cord issues when riding for long time
And they even had the gear position indicator removed for the new BS 6 variant
Go for gixxer sf. It's 10k expensive but looks awesome and more premium.
And suzuki dealers can easily give discount upto ₹5k on it. I buyed it 4 days back.

+bike ke parts ki Quality tvs ya hero se lakh guna badia hai.
Boht jyada premium or heavy quality ke parts hai iske.

All fuel injected bikes need to have some amount of spare fuel to avoid damage to the fuel injector
It is not necessary that you'll get MRF tyres you might also get Ceat tyres of same quality.

I owned Pulsar 150 for 5 years before going for Gixxer. Honestly, I find Gixxer is over rated, doesn't justify the price at all. I found Pulsar road grip, handling, seat position, braking and seats way better, may be due to my height of 6'1". It was breeze to ride Pulsar and never had to replace anything in 5 years. Gixxer ergonomics are not good, it give wrist pain even in city. Already switch gear (suddenly ignition goes off) has problem and replacement needed. Seating position is not comfortable, brake lever is also too short and tiny, gear shifts are pathetic, rear seat too tall for pillion, and short seat makes uncomfortable. Mirrors and horn also almost useless. Clock on the console runs 1-2 mins fast every day! During rain, the absence of tyre hugger/mud guard makes it too dirty on front and rear side. Only positive is smooth powerful engine, suspension is good, handling is not bad. It just caught up with only looks with fz like looks.

Ek staff ka bande ko dost bana ke pucha to usne bataya ki suzuki scooty to boht bikti hai par bikes kam bikti hai, or agar jyada din godown mei khadi reh jae to koi customer nahi leta, isliye commission kaam lekar sell kar dete hai.
Qki suzuki ke service centres itne nahi hote, isliye customers ko baad mei humare hi workshop se service karani padti hai, or service se jyada earning ho jati hai.
Baki hero or tvs ki gadia jyada din tak nahi rehti dealer ke Paas, isliye vo discount nahi dete qki agar ek banda nahi lega to dusra to lega hi.
