I have some great news about the latest episode
When I had my wisdom teeth surgery in 2015, I was severely numbed, but fully aware of everything happening around me. So imagine my fear when the dentist’s joke of the day right after taking the tooth out was “oops, wrong one”. Haven’t been to that office since
I had been playing Cyberpunk 2077 when I had mine removed. As I came up from the anesthetic, I hallucinated a vision of Keanu Reeves in the corner as Johnny Silverhand who said, "Welcome back to the land of the living." I was barely cognizant enough to realize that audiovisual hallucinations were Bad and not a good thing to experience coming out of anesthesia, so I tried to convey it to my anesthesiologist, but she just tried to comfort me and get me to stop talking with the cotton in my mouth. Then Keanu Reeves gave me a peace sign and disappeared. I think about that moment a lot.
