This is what a real Rehab should be. Really a great story, a great documentary. Salutes to your entire team for acceptance and for showcasing the issues of an addict. Thanks for showing that recovery is indeed possible. I'd love to get associated with you but sadly, I am in India.
Why did the narrator say “if rehab works they” meaning his drugs of choice (Matthew) “ they will be gone from his life forever “? I thought the addiction is lifelong, a constant battle, and so many relapse…? How could they be gone forever?🤷🏻🧐
Hi, yeah I just watched the documentary and thought the exact same thing myself. Why the narrator said that “ Gone forever “ . That’s certainly not how addiction works it’s a daily battle, and there’s a lot of work to do every day for your sobriety. Sorry I thought I’d reply to you as I’m in recovery myself and when I seen your comment. Take care 😊
Hey Sarah, Yeah exactly don’t know what that therapist meant, but not true. Thanks for responding and adding so now I know I’m not in left field(this time lol). The best to you Sarah.
I block out painful emotions with nicotine. Intrusive thoughts about K state, the Morris campus, my parents. Living at my parents house is an intrusive thought.
Well done to all of you who have had the courage to take this huge step into the start of your wellness journey❤
This is great. I wish them all the best. We all have addictions of some kind.
14 yrs clean and sober today. What massive changes in my life , yes my life lived well
“Wakey Wakey, hands off snakey” ARH HAHA HA! Cracked me up! 🤣
