- If I were to edit my videos in the order I took them, this video would be wayyyy down on the list right now. But since I have quite a few videos to edit and share, I thought I’d take turns between my journal flip throughs and ink or pen unboxings, just to mix things up for now while I can.
Just like my previous ink swatching video, this is my second bottle of Jacques Herbin Gris Nuage, the first purchased a very long time ago and consumed before I started my ink swatch book. Of course, accidentally tipping the bottle over and losing half its contents helped somewhat 😅. But hey, if I did still have this ink and swatched it back then, I wouldn’t be doing this video now! So it’s all good.
I do wish this ink was a little warmer, if only so that it would match the colour of my pen better - I mean, the colour on the box is pretty close, right? It’s still a lovely shade of grey though (one of the fifty??? 😆), and I don’t mind it at all!

Yeah, the front of the bottle is meant to be a dip pen holder. Though which dip pen fits it I do not know 😆
Hahahahaha 😂 Maybe they have a proprietary dip pen that has a curve or something that fits perfectly 😆
Is that a burping Eco? Yikes. Is this in waterproof?
Thankfully the burping didn’t continue after this video 😄 It was probably just too full of ink 🤭. Hmmm, no, I don’t think this ink is waterproof.
The shading is nice but, for me, the ink is very pale! Ciao
Yes, it is definitely on the pale side! Can be kind of dreamy but also a little difficult to read 😅
