Did not excpect this! Very different from what I've heard with the other submissions. More dissonant and unsettlning! nice take!

@Tom Richardson thanks for the comment. Well, the 'memento mori' and 'my time is not [infinite]' voiceover was the trigger for the mood of this score. Which is rather different from your interpretation. Good luck!
I love your modern approach... I went for something more conventional ?!? Bravo (did you use Ondes Martenot ?)
@Denis Dion thanks for the feedback. If you're referring to the synth sound starting at 01:14, that is a combination of NI FM8 (Reed Petite preset) panned hard left, and Massive X (Floog preset) panned R (both panned wide to stay away from the voiceover in the centre). Both play the same MIDI notes (with legato note overlap), but one copy has been humanised to obtain different note positions and velocities, and the synth detuned by a few cents). I always edit presets: amplitude envelope and filter cutoff frequency the obvious candidates, but also adding modulation (LFO) and realtime Midi CC control. The Massive X has a subtle amount of noise added. Both are monophonic, with significant portamento glide time. FM8 has ValhallaRoom, Massive X ValhallaDelay insert. Both are sent to a 10-20 ms delay that copies the signal to the opposite side (create width), and to a reverb bus. I intend to do a video on the compositional elements later this month. Will listen to your score over the weekend. Does this answer the question? (In summary: no Ondes Martenot, I use virtual instruments only).

@Pocket Sunlight thanks for your comment. This short movie has great cinematic quality in my opinion. It is the pacing of the shots and the meaning of the spoken words (desperation?) that triggered this mostly atonal score. Good luck with your contribution.
