Beautiful tribute to your mum. She passed away on my husband’s birthday. I lost my husband a couple of months later. It was his loss that pushed towards painting. At 62 I had never painted, but strangely enough, it is painting that’s helping me heal. I found you in February and took the free workshop that you offered and now I’m binge watching all your videos.

very sorry for your loss. I had two deep losses, one in 2018, and the second, in January 2019. This year, also at 62, I returned to art as the core of who I am, after having undervalued it, but it aside... pushed it into the background. It was Nicholas’ free art2life workshops that brought me back to myself, this February. A wonderful Valentine’s day gift. All the best to the new you!

A beautiful video tribute to your Mom. Mourning and grief are the direct result of deep love , it’s the price we pay for love.

This is an absolutely lovely portrait of your mother as an strong individual, but also a glimpse of your relationship. I love the shot at the end of her riding on your bike. Thank you for sharing her with us. I am, by the way, an abstract painter for 26 years. (Painting cured me of migraine headaches, that's how powerful making art can be.) Best to you going forward.

I love the opening profile picture of her. Lovely, dignified, and strong. I could tell a great deal about her character by the faces and reactions of family and loved ones around her. Lucky sister! Lucky you!

i just lost my heartfelt comment to this, when I tried to select it to copy and edit! Well, i am comforted by knowing it “went into the ether.” Ultimately, wanted to thank you again, Nicholas, for your heart. And for the saving Grace of your art2life workshops this year, and KTAP... which I will tune into this aft’ .I see your mother in you... and you in her.
I see your mother in you, and it is wonderful to know you took her to your workshop, and she made art.

I thought this was going to be about a painting you'd done of your Mum. Instead it was a BEAUTIFUL film in memory of your Mum. It was soooo moving and touching. I hope you are able to watch it again yourself. Where abouts did your parents live in the UK? I'm asking because I'm in the UK 💖
