This man was a Master in our time. His work brings me to tears, and reminds me that, no matter how hard our lives may be, no matter how we mess up this Earth, She will always heal our hearts, with Her Beauty and enveloping Love.
What an amazing artist and video. Thank you for making this, as I've never seen his art before. The combination of the music and art makes this feel very otherworldly, which may actually be oddly appropriate because this doesn't appear to be from Earth at all. I've never seen vistas and colors like that before. Very beautiful and surreal. Thanks for sharing.
I love Earle and keep his book with paintings always opened. He's world is so unique! Thank you so much for this beautiful video with fantastic paintings of Earle. Great work and I truly enjoyed it!
It is hoped that his 1963 animated feature, "The Story of Christmas" could be shown on TV again for the first time in over 60 years. It was narrated by Tennessee Ernie Ford, and it aired on December 22, 1963--a month after President Kennedy's assassination, and presumably brought a bright spot to many lives in the aftermath of that calamitous event.
Thank you for this. I will watch it many times. Earle's art is inspiring to me. In your video, we viewers can see the art advance to spiritual expression as the years progressed.
I love his work but I am confused about what medium a lot of these are painted in. Many of his originals that are for sale online are listed as being oil paintings but I'm sure they are not because of the way the paint is applied. In the video where the four Disney artists paint the same tree, Earle states that, "I'm using casein. A milk based water color like paint." Yet elsewhere I haven't found a single piece online that's listed as having been executed in casein. Do you know anything about this?

And now I am to be haunted by these paintings. And I'm glad for it. Thank you.
I watch this every now and then and it always leaves me speechless.
Exquisite art and a sensitive selection of just the right music. Bravo! And thanks.

Are there any galleries or art museums with a permanent Eyvind Earle exhibit? I'd love to visit one.

Do you know anything about this?
I believe many of them are guache, which is opaque watercolor.
Hi, thanks for this very nice video!
What is the title of the music you used? :)
+Orangoes You are very welcome! The title is: 'Piano Textures 2, III' by Bruno Sanfilippo (Argentinian composer.)
What is the first track? It isn't 'piano textures'
There is only one track playing throughout the entire video, it is 'Piano Textures 2, III'
All looks like AI 😱
