This is a pretty interesting take on SCR backstory, however I would like to think that SCR would only exist after the 1990s, as that's around when nationalization of British Railways ended.
Random thing I made up: The very first "railway" in Stepford was opened by a man named Joshua Feilhaber in 1850. He ran a 2 foot gauge railway using tram tracks from his house in Faraday Road to Benton and Benton Road. He used brake wagons from a Welsh railway to run the line, with the line down from Faraday Road being powered by gravity, and the line up to it being pushed by the passenger. (The brake wagons were very light) The line was open to everyone. He used brake wagons because the wagons on the line could derail easily due to the slopes causing high speeds.
We all know City Hospital Was going to be called Beechley originally, being renamed, Beechley eventually opened, here's why I think that. Originally, there was no hospital on that site, Instead, it was part of the Beechley area, along with the other station (Beechley North, as I think it would have been) However, after the Hospital opened near the station, there was no need for Beechley north to have the 'north' suffix, and it then became just 'Beechley', Great video though!
Imagine if the tramline actually existed as a separate game. It would start around stepford victoria going up to stepford central. Another line extends up to stepford ufc and the main one continues up to the airport central. Then another line connects to the final stop leighton stepford road. For metro it would be around the willowfield, whitefield and stepford victoria area.
Great fiction here thinking of original names for current stations is an incredible props to you. Also for writing the script, must have taken hours just to think of the old names for stations (or towns/cities)
i’d say willowfield should be on the victoria branch during the GSR because financial quarter was called willowfield in the older version of the game other than that, very entertaining
I like to think the line was split up into different railways at the start e.g the LBTSR could be the railway that manages the branch to Llyn and connects it with Benton via Leighton.
Here are the railways I thought operated on the line. GSR (Great Stepford Railway) WFR (Whitefield Railway) EBR (Elsemere Berrily Railway) CBR (Central Benton Railway) RBR (River Ben Railway, the equivalent to WL now) LSR (Leighton Stepford Railway) LBTSR (Llyn-by-the-sea Railway)
I made up this story: In 1800, the Countywide Stepford Railway opened from Greenslade, Victoria, Hemdon Barracks, and Morganstown to Connoly, Stepford Aerodrome, Rosedale Overhead, Winstree, etc. serving Lines 1 and 2 Then, no progress till 1816. In 1817, in January, most lines closed, including the whole of Line 2. Then, the Countywide Stepford Railway, in 1903, was abolished for Stepford Railway. It also made Airlink open. Then Express. The end, in 2015 was the creation of Stepford County Railway but in 2018, expansion of operators to terminals and new stations (except Morganstown) and Transport for Stepford taking over.

To fill in for 1.10: Stepford connect creates a route to Leighton West pushing them into debt. @@GoZombies ... let's say that Stepford InterCity just did job of fallen VT operator in game, which also used HST's, voyagers (class 221 and 220), WAG sets (class 90's and 67's operating those with Mk3's + DVT class 82, some being bought from AirLink and express, also taken from VT after early retiring (last sets being scrapped or sold to Stepford Connect) those push-pull sets from service and replacing them with class 220's+221's and almost 390's that had 6 carriages as a result of shortening and failed to introduce to IC but suceed to start operation on express), eventually 180 being brought there, later and new 801's to replace HST'S and wag sets by a little, 68's to replace 90's and 67's.

Yeah
Would mist likely be NSE as scr has many stations that were in that area: old sv, cannon st, new sv, cx, new llyn, reading, milton keynes, ect
I think it’s like they all got service name by British rail and network south east and intercity

Great video but I have a question, out of the big four what line would the Great stepford railway been absorbed into??
British railways in 1948 along with 4 railway companies

If GSR was included into this, it would be the big 5 companies
