It doesn't have the hair hard or crunchy and you get a lot of definition with it. What I also do I use Aunt Jackie defining curl wrap before I add the flax seed gel. We both have the same hair type. I'm so excited to be on this journey with my natural hair. Stay beautiful..

I've been using kinky curl gel it really defines my curls but my hair is hard so I appreciate your video on nice soft curls with no gel. I never try Carol's daughters. There are so many hair products out there now. Is there anything else I can use that will get the same effect if not I'll just go with it. God bless you
