I've been playing MTG Arena for about 1 year, and then I decided to stop because it took too much of my time and money than I was willing to spend. I have unsubscribed every MTG Arena youtube channel I had, except this one. I love to watch CGB playing. There is something mystical and soothing in that. It brings me more relaxation than playing it myself ever did.
I feel like the f2p model in Arena is very good. I havent paid for the game and I can still have fun in it most of the time. Hearthstone on the other hand is not possible to play f2p

I think we're overlooking the fact that pronouncing it correctly = on the draw almost every single game. That's what we've learned here; CGB cannot again speak the forbidden worde.

I rarely comment, but sometimes, when I do, i point out some missplays. I'm sorry if that bothered you. I really mean to point out a mistake in a constructive way. I'd personally be grateful to have critics to my plays, since it can assist growth. But I also understand it can be really annoying, pressuring and overwhelming. Anyway, just a honest feedback, opinion, food for thought. I respect the way you feel and will stop commenting such things, unless you change how you feel, for any reason. Have fun playing and a real thank you from a fan that has watched every video for several months. It helped me to keep up my mental sanity during the covid pandemic, which has been extremely tough here in Brazil. I really wish I could afford your patreon.

I did a draft the other day, and built a boros deck that wasn't winota, but used a ton of CGB's cards he's been trying in winota. Exile pupper, blade historian, etc. Thanks CGB!
My first 7 win draft deck was a Lorehold pile. Lots of cheap creatures, removal, and some chunky top end that included Mascot Exhibition got me a lot of easy wins. Been having so much fun doing Strixhaven limited!
Adding emergent sequence can help your mismatch color, it also trigger winota, but yes with a lot of creature remover nowaday it still suck....also make your mark and clarion spirit can help to always have a board presence
I made a naya winota deck that utilizes jaspera senitnel and elvish warmaster from kaldheim you can have very explosive turn 4 winotas. Ive gotten up to 6 winota triggers on turn 4. Its not as consistent as id like (yet) but winota elves is fun. Also run a couple visionary and the flash fox (forget name atm) the only thing like you already mentioned is blade historian is awkward with green mana but oh well. Jaspera sentinel is underrated ive had two mana games that ive won because the sentinel carries

Never having been a fan of the Boros decks, I never crafted Winota... i've only been on the receiving side. I gave this deck a try on Mid-week magic.... wow... adding Esika's chariot makes this deck ridiculous!
37:45 Feels like Kenrith heal could've worked there, CGB goes to 13 and can trade Winota for Anax or eat w Kenrith if opponent sucks and doesn't use castle. OR attack with Kenrith so Winota trading for Anax next turn, the drawback here is that an Anax chump block leaves cgb dead on board to castle(There's no Bonecrusher to block next turn if oppo taps down to use castle and kenrith can become a 7/7 trampler with a land topdeck). At least could've waited to see the Mono R player next draw ihmo, just to be sure if there was any play to salvage that game, at least if they top deck the embercleave we have a guilt free loss.

It feels like its happening to me because it does so often: mana screwed, never ever on the play, they have a god draw or the exact deck to beat me. I never get to go first either especially against mono red. It's like the devs made it so they always get first lol. It's one reason I like control with a little ramp so it doesn't matter as much.
When I play aggro, it definitely feels like I get to go first a lot more often. But as anti-aggro most decks are these days it feels like I have virtually no chance at winning without the first turn advantage.
So hear me out. In almost every archetype, going first has a significant advantage, and WotC has never been able to improve on this since the draw first rule. What if a set of dual lands were released that came into play tapped if you were on the play, but untapped if you were on the draw? Good/Horrible idea? I don't see untapped dual lands as too much of an OP advantage, but I could be wrong. You are taking a gamble putting them in your deck with a big risk/reward gap.
I hate it since they won't allow you to plan. You never know when building the deck. Will they be untapped or tapped? I could even see people playing them in the sideboard and board them in on the draw because they'd be ABUR duals and that would kinda screw the idea behind the designe.

Im still confused as to how people can actually get into mythic with winota. No matter what version I played, this wincon is too unreliable and the only way to win is to either cast blade historian and beat your opponent to death (not different from mono red) or to draw winota constantly and have a perfect curve. But people already know what you will do and those saw it comings just stay in their hands, so you are pushed against a corner in most cases. So, the people who actually managed to do so are either the luckiest MTG arena players I have ever seen or their opponents never knew how to play against them in the first place lol
No dude, you drop the bone crushers for emergent sequence. It let's you drop a turn 3 chariot or Winota while thinning the deck for better odds on historian and kenrith. Bone crusher is rarely on curve in the deck, symbology let's you fix a disaster hand with a lesson
Have you ever considered two accounts, one for testing and fun decks and one for serious ranking? Your ranks seem like they are all over the place from video to the next
Historian and Winota is worst than monored, this type of aggro taking the meta is bad, you have to play the same (so whoever is on the play win) or forces you to have a million ways to clear the board and removal, that not seems like a fun way to play

I wonder if, over a large enough sample (1,000 games for example), the amount of times that you play on the draw and the ones where you play first are about equal. It's just really exhausting to hear him complain about that so much, so often.
I agree it's a topic I don't need to hear about. But it is unusual to be on the draw 7 times in a row. That's a 1/2^7 or a 1 in 128 chance. It's pretty unlucky. You would have to play about 896 games to see it happen. But is agree it's a thing he seems to focus on a lot as he talks about it in most videos. Unfortunately it's just a risk of playing BO1 which he otherwise really seems to enjoy
