Pro angler Barrack uses a snag-proof frog on top of the mats to entice a giant bass into coming up through the moss and exploding on his lure. The bass had to be hauled up by another angler to get all the weight onto the boat. The term on the Delta when opening it is "Christmas presents in June"

That is awesome! Gators! In the Bass Movie we tried some tough stuff: making bass either bust through heavy moss or one guy catches a world record real deep on a tiny fly he made. We also shot from helicopters so people could get a good look at all the fisheries. The 2nd disc has other scenes from our trip and some cool demos as well as an other unexpected thing: a very candid and relaxed Bill Dance recounting his life as he had never done before.Thanks for watching!

I have a love and hate relationship with those weed beds. Great for bass to hide in but total crap to make a decent presentation with your lure.

Honestly I dont think the bass care wether its a bird frog or another bait fish. If it moves they are interested.
