    Love your videos! They are very educational in explaining the basic concepts required for beginning more complex projects. Thanks for sharing!

    I love your little engines too my friend I've made three from your channel - linear solenoid, Newman motor and easy dc motor with brushes and commutator. Great stuff keep it up!

    Sir pls I want to know whether using 4 (3.7V , 1200mAh) batteries would be enough power to make a solenoid engine, because I made on and didn't know why it wasn't working. That's after checking the connections

    Wait, what's the purpose of the wire that touches the crank for a period of time?

    Can you power a solenoid with AC voltage

    • @Peter_S_
      @Peter_S_ 5 років тому

      He's using a magnet to push against so the coil must be powered by DC to keep the polarity of the electromagnet consistent. To do this with AC you would need to replace the permanent magnet with another electromagnet wound opposite of the solenoid coil. This is what you see in AC motors.

    If your internal combustion engine sounds like this get help you are about to throw a rod out the side of the block.

    please can you make video or schematic draw about making mechanical rectifier of 220v ac to 220v dc ?
    it would be so great if one idea works , for example convert ac motor to a rectifier , or ac electromagnet when the wave is positive it attract two wires and when the wave is negative it attract switched wires (using a permanent magnet so the electromagnet attract only only one wave) , i think a capacitor is needed to shift the ac wave ,

    please reply for any advice or idea
    thank you very much.
