In order to slide the upper off the lower you'll need to take out the feed ramp inside the magwell. I had trouble with it at first till I realized you needed to take it out. Hope you enjoy this gun as much as I do Pheas

This is the first review i see on one of the double eagle rifs and man i have to say they are doing a great job with these things, ofcourse not the best of the best internals, but more than great externals and everything non-prioretery, so therefor easylie upgradeable on the inside aswell. Also great styling and individual design, love that! And all that for such a good price. Makes me happy to see that they put this much effort into their products! And nice review(s) by you aswell ofcourse!
gotta say... super impressed with double eagle's offerings recently. their m9XX series and the like just do not miss
Loving the DE content, really sound guns id recommend them to any new players as their first purchase and life long purchase!
not just new players mate they really do outmatch stuff costing double thats then had the purchase price of them spent on upgrades so costs x3

Just a heads-up for people thinking about picking one of these up. The hop-up chamber seems very picky in terms of what bucking it will take (tried g&g green and begadi fly). That problem could easily be fixed by getting another hop-up chamber of course, the issue is that double eagle seems to have a proprietary solution for this specific replica.
Note! I have to friends with similar issues regarding this. Will only feed with original bucking. Many different mag brands has been tried, everything else stock.
What buckings works with the stock hop up chamber?

it takes ak mags, that makes it immediately much better than the regular m904 😂
Only the CYMA CM.622 is a match to this DE series, but the CM.622 is probably the best gun out there pound per pound.
Just for ref...the falcon efcs doesn't recognise nimh or life apparently so it might not have been an issue with your battery but the rif itself.
Great vid as always purchased one of these myself and other than the stock not been the one displayed on the instruction manual its a great rif especially for the price.

One thing I will say is of they make a metal version that will fly out plus I like mutant style weapons like ar47 mutant

This looks the nuts, be better with a square flash hider like the DE M4 UTR tho....🤔
Which type of ak mags should i buy
I have been having great success with Nuprol flash mags, cyma 150 roiund mags and cyma 200 round mags as well as the cyma AK 47 style high caps. Not found anything that doesnt feed in it yet. Pheas
Im gonna get one as i like ak mags as they feed much better in my opion and m4 mk18 rail and etc so im gonna but a mk18 but in ar47 flavour Heretic mode.
It saves you morw monwy as you can use the same optics and accessories on both wiyhout paying 2x more

Great video pheas would you say this brand is on par with the likes of specna or cyma. Where did you purchase from please
Hiya! Would defo put it on the cyma level and at least on par with most of the Specna stuff. Maybe just the edge 2.0 which might be slightly better, but would have to look more comprehensively to know for sure, BUT they are very very similar! This model in particular was the last one in stock with UK Airsoft. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft so if there was a choice of a cyma brand say an M4 and a specna which would you say would be the one to go for? Have you ever looked at either platforms?
@@stubbox8629 hmm that's a hard one. I've had high end Cymas and I've recently done a Specna edge 2.0 as well.... I actually think I would go for the Cyma, the specs of them are generic so everything and anything will go with and in them. Specna can be a bit picky and some of their QC can be questionable. Not to say cyma can't / doesn't have its issued too at times, but I feel the cyma is the better option

When I changed shooting modes There, at the handle, only beep beep beep was heard, but it would not fire I would be grateful if you knew how to eliminate this problem

hello! asg bren question, what rail covers did you use and when i took off the orange tip it turns the whole barrel. thanks!
hello, I didnt use rail covers I don't think, but I do like the Magpul XTM type ones (those are cool) , as for the barrel, you might need to hold / brace the barrel to unscrew the muzzle break (make sure you check for a grub screw in the muzzle break). Pheas
Have you tried with heavier BBs like .28 and so on?
Hiya, I don't usually for the videos as I don't run heavier BBS and most people I know tend to only run 0.25s... unless sniper or DMR. That said... Last weekend, mid fight fire, I had run out of ammo, someone lent me a speed loader of 0.28g, only needed a tiny adjustment of the hop and was flinging them out with ease. Hope that helps. Pheas

Is this safe to use with a 11.1 out the box?
yes! I have been running on 11.1v for the 3 full game days now and it runs perfect! Fired about 9k bbs and still going strong! Pheas

Hiya, in theory you should be able to use any highcap with it (AK style Obviously) I was only able to test the ones I had, but if Cyma fit, I would expect others to as well. Pheas
