Dolores says several times during the film that she hears Bruuno, but no one listens to Dolores then and Isabella even tells her sister to shut up. And it's an interesting detail that if we as the film's audience don't pay attention, we're easily guilty of the same thing and ignore Dolores.

Those are just off the top of my head. Dolores KNOWS (and probably promised to not out Bruno, or doesn't know how to help him without putting him in danger, or making things worse for him)
Lol, Mirabel's favorite pass-time is sewing, because she really _knits_ everyone together 😂

My family and I watched Encanto for the first time just a few months ago and we LOVE it. It’s definitely one of of my new favorites. We’ve already watched it a total of 15 times.
I feel like Mirabel’s room would have a giant tree, with colourful leaves, flowers(Isabella), animals(Antonio), clouds that can be shaped into anything (Pepa and Camillo), an echoing valley (Dolores) with beautiful caves(Bruno) and lakes, a rollercoaster that goes around the tree (Luisa) and a garden full of herbs(Juileta). Something to represent her family along with a huge treehouse for her to hang out with them.
It would be full of color, butterflies and joy.
The thing that I see so many other people misunderstand, especially since Bruno _himself_ misunderstood it at the time, is that his vision about Mirabel's future was _not_ uncertain: it wasn't that she might destroy _or_ save the family, but rather, as you pointed out, that she would do both. They had to be broken down before they could rebuild, because their proverbial foundations weren't sturdy, like the Tower card in the Tarot deck. None of his visions (so far) have been wrong, not even that one, which had seemed split and therefore like only one half could come true.
Gosh I desperately want a TV/streaming series as a continuation of this story. I need full episodes revolving around each Madrigal exploring who they want to be, as well as making new connections with some of the villagers. I want new characters to be introduced and befriended by (or develop a romantic connection with) some of the main cast. I want fun shenanigans with Camillo, but also a deep episode for him, I want the realities and struggles of Delores and Mariano dating, I want Isabella's new career, Luisa finding happiness, Mirabel running things...
Encanto is my favorite all time Disney movie so I’m so happy to watch this.

I always think Mirabel managed to save the magic by repairing her family's broken family union: showing her missteps to the Abuela, and the true feelings of the memberss of the family, making them a more loving and unified family no longer based on expectations to be fulfilled

Mirabel, the only thought I could think of for her door knob is: How could they make one so fast? Simple answer? They couldn't. They probably put it away in the attic and when they were cleaning up the rubble a towns person found it and gave it to one of the family members. Then later presented it to her. The era the movie is set in due to the lack of mass production they could of not made a knob that fast.
