I really like the window being open. I've been sitting with my legs crossed listening to or watching these just being in the space, enjoying the chat. Big fan of these and I personally think people with shaved heads should be allowed in the bald club.
My problem is I'm walking the busy roads into to college or bombing it down the motorway into work (I'm in the passenger seat dont worry) so sometimes hes a bit difficult to make out but I do like the window its nice.
There's something just magical about being in a foreign hotel and having the window open to street sounds, and there's something about morning traffic that just sounds perfect as background for conversations
I remember watching an escape from tarkov stream long ago where he started the stream, did the whole run for 15 mins until he got killed, and then just said mmmm.
I really like the window being open, adds to the ambience a lot more - I think if it were closed it would be much less... personal almost. In terms of calling to sub etc, I never share/bell, but may sub if the way asked is creative and interesting, not just the 'hey sub and hit that bell!' way. I think that only works on kids
Calls to action never work on me, BUT they do absolutely work. Everyone who's done it notices there's an uptick in their subs after they do it. Keep in mind that a large portion of UA-cam's audience is, unfortunately, young children.
CTA's have definitely made me consider and often like a video. It's a good reminder to almost try give back to the creator knowing it will boost their video somewhat.
i like the window being open as it kind of achieves what you want it to, also i never listen to the like share subscribe thing, i only do it when i actually want to do it, that being said i've been subscribed and i get notifications every time you post a video and that does put a smile on my face as i find these pretty entertaining
its the worst possible way to drink from a bottle unless you're on the move, it pretty much guarantees getting splosh on your lips. it's physics m8, you need to leave an air gap otherwise you're creating a small vaccuum effect
For the call to action thing, almost never. The exception is when it's extremely clever or funny, ie. SerpaDesign... on that channel its quite rare for him to ask, but when he does ask its funny and unexpected; "mist dripwall beta paludarium", around 3 minutes into the video
To answer your question Pflax, it usually just reminds me to make the decision to or not. If i wasnt planning on subbing already it usually enrages me beyond the fury of a thousand suns, but if i've already been watching for a while and haven't subbed, just forgetting or putting it off, it can get me to sub instead of just relying on the home screen recommendations.
Nah, if im gonna commit to more notifications it's because I want to, if I want to watch something I'll get round to it when I have the time, I also enjoy the feeling of remembering I have something to watch.
There is no way id ever click a bell but I think the asking me to subscribe has worked before. Like "ah yeah thats a good video i didnt consider subscribing but now I will to see if future videos are also that good"
Sometimes a UA-camr will go "only x% of you have subscribed and it would really help me out" If they've been sympathetic so far, I'll subscribe. I don't think I would've if they hadn't asked
I watch/listen to this while eating my breakfast. Its a chill way to start the day. Thanks. As for the 'call to action': No. If I like the content I subscribe. Also I sure as heck dont want to be notified when something is posted, my phone is mostly silent. I hate the constant.
think the phone closer to the face works for focus hunting, also lighting was a bit uneven with the window which may have been throwing it off but it seems better now. I think the point is that a percentage of people do get persuaded or guilted into liking and subscribing by their favourite content creators so saying things like that does boost metrics.
I really enjoy these! People begging for likes/subscriptions/the frigging bell are annoying. I don't want notifications for new content, I wanna check for myself when I have time if something came out I might enjoy. (Grammar? Which grammar?)
Never share, but I always at least like the video - costs me nothing and if it makes a tiny difference to someone, why the hell not? Love the updates pflax, more morning thoughtfulness.
Pyrion goes water, tablet, water, water, tablet, water. I've never seen that but now I'm thinking it might be a good way as you dont get that chalky residue on your tongue. I typically put both tablets on my tongue and swallow but I might take a wee small swig of water if I have it.
Open window for the chill vibes. If I like the video and am reminded to like the video, I will. If the creator wants/needs it, it is a small effort from my side.
Definitely love the casual engagement in the morning, the long pauses where you can hear whats going on in the streets, and no i dont ding bells on command
Like/Share/Subscribe - yes. Once in a blue moon, if I like the person and I want to subscribe. But to be honest, as you said, if I like it, I subscribe. You are an ace, a proper dad, telling it like it is!
I love the open window. I also wish we could see out the window a little bit. Gives us a place to look in the moments of quiet 🧘♀️ Notifications are the devil so the bell always goes unDINGED. I think a lot of viewers over-value the "Like" button. I see it as an "Appreciate" button; you don't have to make me cry with laughter or say all the things that make me happy... You just need to have posted a video I appreciate. Reminding me to hit it does work.
Sometimes youtuber promting to like has made me like, because I enjoyed the video so far, but I usually forget to leave a like on a video. so it works, but only if it has been enjoyable. I do not get why someone would say it in the beginning of a video though.
I've got a weird take on the like and subscribe thing, I always like every video before I even start watching, I do the same thing on Reddit, it's almost like a marker to say I've watched/read this post and it helps out so why not. When people remind me to like the video it actually makes me think hard about if I really liked the video and if not I will unlike it.
I have watched my 2 little nephews watching youtube videos before and as soon as the gronk on screen says "like and subscribe" they do it like little robots. I always wondered the same, who really likes and subscribes just because some jerk on screen says it at the end of a video. It was slightly heartbreaking when the penny dropped.
Call to actions piss me off; "Mash that bell" usually makes me dislike the video. I suppose it is action though so maybe they got me good.... On contrary, I like videos I genuinely like and expect to watch often. Music for instance. Also like videos that are heavily disliked if I like the UA-camrs and don't understand why it's disliked to balance the scales a little.
"LikeCommentSubscribe" It does...IF I want to do those things already anyway. Because it's a reminder to while I was busy enjoying the video itself. But if I don't care, it's just empty noise.
truebald checking in. i'm a metal guy so losing my long hair was doubly painful, and every time i go to a gig now i feel like a piece of my soul is missing. by all accounts i look much better bald but still. IT WASN'T ABOUT HOW GOOD I LOOKED
I think someone asking for likes, somewhat resentfully, does make me like a bit more, as occasionally I forget. Occasionally I find myself specifically not liking for them asking though. So I guess I don't know.
Generally, if it's a content creator I like or if it's a new creator and I'm genuinely liking the content and I haven't liked the video yet, then I will like the video when asked because obviously it helps with algorithmic hoo-ha. Also, you talking about commenting/liking has made me do both, so there you go I guess.
For the like share and subscribe, it has worked once with the subscribe. I noticed youtube had unsubscribed me from the person. So it is a good reminder sometimes imo. But like? Never, i only like those that i really enjoy. But often when i watch someone new it just feels strange. And i would refrain from sub even more almost. Oh, and the window is a top notch touch. It is really nice listening to some background noise and you talking.
You got the 'like sub ding bell' stuff correct for me. I never like any videos because i was told. Usually its a one off video done by a new-ish channel. So it helps them know what I like/dislike on their channel.
Pflax with hair would be a completely seperate entity from what we see on this screen. His whole personality changed just by him pretending to have beatiful long locks.
It doesn't work on me personally (the call to action thing) but I also think the type of audience you attract are not as easily influenced as younger audiences for example. Similarly to how you don't attract flat earthers which you mentioned in a previous video :P
For youtube if I feel like subscribing I'll do it, enjoy it I'll like it etc. Being told doesn't affect me one way or the other. I also appreciate the open window and the 2 minutes of initial silence, it's just chill
I usually try to remember to wait until the end of the video to "Like" it, to make sure I do actually like it. But I usually forget, and the only times I do "Like" videos is when they ask and I agree that I've enjoyed up to that point. Never at the start, though.
Being reminded to like works for me cause I'm air brained and probably already looking for the next video to watch. So a reminder to like isn't by for me
i never used to 'like' any youtube videos, but these days, if any little joke or moment makes me chuckle or i think, 'dang thats a good point', however small. then i'll like the video. never once clicked like because the creator asked me to.

Glenn is exactly that, garlic and mayo. Susan is sesame.
Any others in the People Sauce range?
Love that in Pflax's mind when he has hair his voice also changes.
In regards to the "call to action" it makes me want to do it less
What a guy, 2.45mins without a word, yet we all knew how he was doing. Truly an AmDram legend
I remember watching an escape from tarkov stream long ago where he started the stream, did the whole run for 15 mins until he got killed, and then just said mmmm.
Ted's quiet introspection is one of the most Zen, relaxing experiences on UA-cam. What a guy!
I always ignore the call to action on videos, it almost doesn't register
I really like the window being open, adds to the ambience a lot more - I think if it were closed it would be much less... personal almost. In terms of calling to sub etc, I never share/bell, but may sub if the way asked is creative and interesting, not just the 'hey sub and hit that bell!' way. I think that only works on kids
I love Pyrion Flax but im way out of the dota scene. But seeing this reminds me how fun he is to watch. Great guy.
having the window open has the exact effect you were hoping for Pyrion :)
Calls to action never work on me, BUT they do absolutely work. Everyone who's done it notices there's an uptick in their subs after they do it.
Keep in mind that a large portion of UA-cam's audience is, unfortunately, young children.
"Should begin" true words.
CTA's are proven to work, doesn't mean they're not overdone and obnoxious a lot of the time, but they definitely work.
Ive heard the classic "click the like button and subscribe" so many times, I pretty much just learned to passively ignore it
CTA's have definitely made me consider and often like a video. It's a good reminder to almost try give back to the creator knowing it will boost their video somewhat.
very relatable beginning, really spoke to me
as for calls to action, I'll do anything for you pflax :)
i like the window being open as it kind of achieves what you want it to, also i never listen to the like share subscribe thing, i only do it when i actually want to do it, that being said i've been subscribed and i get notifications every time you post a video and that does put a smile on my face as i find these pretty entertaining
Perfect video to shave to this morning, I also SMASHED THAT BELL. You’re welcome.
Nice to see that you're a lips over the whole bottle kind of guy.
Well yeah? What else? You stick your lips IN to the bottle? What kind of animal does that?
@@Karvan420 I usually opt for a rolled tongue inside the neck, like a straw with tastebuds!
its the worst possible way to drink from a bottle unless you're on the move, it pretty much guarantees getting splosh on your lips. it's physics m8, you need to leave an air gap otherwise you're creating a small vaccuum effect
Man your up early
I love the window sounds
Window open is nice. "Call to action" gets ignored, I already know those features exist and will use them if I want.
“Dont forget to subscribe” is reverse psychology at this point. Even if i like the channel i ain’t gonna do what ya tell me🤣
I'm just sitting here with PFlax by my side waiting for the games to start
Regarding CTAs, it will at points remind me to like a video. I've never subscribed due to it and that bell can f*** off.
Thank u for the welcome my bald brother!
Linked, subcribed and bell rang.
For the call to action thing, almost never. The exception is when it's extremely clever or funny, ie. SerpaDesign... on that channel its quite rare for him to ask, but when he does ask its funny and unexpected; "mist dripwall beta paludarium", around 3 minutes into the video

I like the window open, and I do click the like button if it's a creator I actually like and if I forgot to do it then they will remind me.
I don't watch or play dota, but I still tune in to these every TI
I only do the like and sub stuff if it’s a creator I actually like
If someone calls me to action, I actively avoid doing so
There is no way id ever click a bell but I think the asking me to subscribe has worked before. Like "ah yeah thats a good video i didnt consider subscribing but now I will to see if future videos are also that good"
I've been cta'd a few times. If I've wound up on a channel a few times, but not really thought about it.
It's a though your inner monologue runs at the speed of of these Ent's from LOTR
Sometimes a UA-camr will go "only x% of you have subscribed and it would really help me out"
If they've been sympathetic so far, I'll subscribe. I don't think I would've if they hadn't asked

Mornin' it's bagel-time
I dont even watch dota, but look towards TI for this
I really enjoy these! People begging for likes/subscriptions/the frigging bell are annoying. I don't want notifications for new content, I wanna check for myself when I have time if something came out I might enjoy. (Grammar? Which grammar?)
It really depends on CTA. Often I won't but sometimes I will.
Never share, but I always at least like the video - costs me nothing and if it makes a tiny difference to someone, why the hell not? Love the updates pflax, more morning thoughtfulness.

Dry swallowing causes liver and kidney damage the more water you drink swallowing pills the less chance of damage. Stay safe friends!
Sound for the advice pal.
Open window for the chill vibes.
If I like the video and am reminded to like the video, I will. If the creator wants/needs it, it is a small effort from my side.
i'm in love with this intro, its been my mood for about 3 weeks.
Going on 13 years for me. Very relatable
Definitely love the casual engagement in the morning, the long pauses where you can hear whats going on in the streets, and no i dont ding bells on command
Have a nice day Mr flax
Like/Share/Subscribe - yes. Once in a blue moon, if I like the person and I want to subscribe. But to be honest, as you said, if I like it, I subscribe. You are an ace, a proper dad, telling it like it is!
Does anyone know when Pyrion will be on? I can't find a schedule.
Call to actions sometimes remind me to consider liking the video if I do indeed like it so they can be useful.
I love the open window. I also wish we could see out the window a little bit. Gives us a place to look in the moments of quiet 🧘♀️

Thanks for doing these every TI

Window open is the way to go PFlax so don't listen to the haters

TM is my favorite game. Its so good to find a microbe or animal engine :)
I very much appreciate the window, “mash the bell” doesn’t work.
If I actually enjoyed the video, I'll like it, but honestly, sometimes I forget and then, yeah, if the video reminds me, I'll do it.

If they are obnoxious with asking to like etc I dislike. Rarely if they say summat and its chill with good content I'm like hm ok I guess
I sometimes "like" the video but otherwise no, I don't bother with answering the "call to action"
If I actually like the video I'll like the video without being asked, the call to action hasn't ever had a bearing on my decision, I feel.
Whenever people say like or subscribe I just compleatly ignore it, it's just like a background noice going in one ear and out of the other
I was a kid in the 80s. I like what I like, subscribe to what I like. It’s just wasted words on every video
interaction reminders sometimes work. If it's a routine video and I do genuinely like it, I'll give it a thumb
Damnit, he got my with the reverse psychological call to attention. Pyrion, rather rude mate.
Like is different than the rest, I forget to like videos I enjoy all the time. But subscribing is not the same at all
If a youtuber asks me to like and subscribe I make a point of doing none of that and skipping a few of their videos.
I love Terraforming Mars! We often play the Board Game and the online game when we cant get together. A lot of fun.
Remember Pyrion; "Liquor before beer, you're in the clear. Beer before liquor, never been sicker."
Normally when I hear a call to action that goes on too long, I'll just turn off the video. Same goes for advertising
Keep the window open
As for liking videos, only if they do it in a funny way like in Angory Tom's older videos
If plax told me to like, and/or subscribe i would. he's such a wise gowned sage
I actually have a browser extension that autoskips call to action parts, as well as sponsored segments & ads
love this series PFlax! A treat every time TI comes around!
it only works if i am genuinely enjoying it and forgot the like button exists. simple as that.
At the mere mention of smashing subscribe I immediately did so. I'm sorry
Not a UA-cam expert by any means but I doubt all these people would do a call to action if they didn't see some benefit.
I like the window open
it's 9 :22 and the Ti twitch stream is looking very empty.
