What a clever method of crafting that is! To be honest, at first, I was quite skeptical about using 3D jigsaw puzzles as a base (used to collect them in the past, btw, and they seemed rather flimsy). But then, after watching a couple of your videos, I changed my mind. In fact, they free you from primary scale measuring and give a reference guide to follow during your crafting process, but at the same time they don't really limit you to that, and leave enough artistic freedom to perform. Congratulations on another successful project!❤
Hi there! Yes I was with you at first, was not sure these would work and the cardboard would become too soggy and not hold the clay. However they were much sturdier than I expected and a great base, as you mentioned, the scale is already there! 😃I did however want to make them more like the movie versions so had to alter them here and there. Thank so much for taking the time to watch and comment, I am very grateful.👍
How on EARTH do you not have an insane number of subscribers?!? You're insanely talented. This is at least my third time binging a bunch of your videos ❤
Your creations are wonderful, thank you so much for sharing them! I was wondering, what is the white powder that you spread over the brick at 5:24? Is it just pastel/pigment powder? It looks really good. Thanks!
Hi Sarah, ooohh now I can't remember, if I was doing it again I would use powdered filler as this would also give some texture when wet, hope this helps 😊👍
