- Continuing this episode, I bring Target to the DPC to meet some of my animals. One of them is my llama, Lorenzo. Target, a chihuahua mix, is being labeled as a nightmare. An aggressive dog that has been snapping and biting at people. He has been creating a divide in the household, which may result in the grandson getting rid of his beloved dog...

I have a very reactive dog . Can't give him anything treat wise as he has terrible sensitive tummy. He's a rough Collies rescue who from what I've worked out reacts to try and protect us because he doesn't think we can.......I'm going to show this to the family and hope it helps. Thank you

Thank you Cesar for helping poor Target and teaching others how important it is to take good care of their dogs teeth. I know how expensive it is to get their teeth cleaned and I think this is why so many people don’t get the proper dental healthcare for their pets.
I am a retired veterinarian technician. I now own my own boarding and grooming facility. I am sickened by the sweet dogs I groom with horrible mouths. I know they are in extreme pain as I have a tough time grooming their face. I try to educate, but veterinarians who don't educate are part of the problem. 😢
I don’t understand how dog owners can let their dogs teeth get so bad. The pain must be unbearable.
Teen owner being bumped from home to home, just landed with grandma, was explained in part 1. So I'm sure adults barely caring for the teen weren't looking closely at his dog.
I love this Cesar. Thank you so much. I know that when dogs do not feel good , they can attack, or if they are overwhelmed with people they do NOT know, they can attack.
I got teary at the end seeing Kathy calm him down. After that he was giving her lots of attention. Seemed he wanted her attention too. Got me kinda squishy. Lol❤

I have been waiting for this to drop! I'm trying to implement your techniques and calmness with my dog. She is a redzone dog, and I pray this will work! ❤
Just keep working at it diligently. If it doesn’t work, rehome the dog and take your time finding one who “fits” better with you. Like people, sometimes it’s just not the right “fit.” That doesn’t mean you “failed” somehow, just that you’re compassionate and realistic enough about yourself and the dog to do what’s best *for both of you.* Best wishes!

Dental care is important, but a vet visit for teeth cleaning is expensive. If you have an older dog or cat, absolutely try to bring it in. Most vet clinics will work with you to get on a payment plan if it becomes too much. There is also lots of pet insurance out there that can help or cover dental work. If your dog or cat is still young though, preventative care is the best thing you can do. Lots of dental treats and toys exist and you can train a cat or dog to be ok with their teeth being brushed. It's still good to bring them in once a year or every 2 years until they're older, but there are small things that can be done if going is too much at the moment.
Finally you released the second part! I've been waiting for it for over a year!

Target is one tough cookie. I probably wouldbe more alpha then Target with tugging on leash training then praise and mybe treat.. He might start to improve now the bad teeth are gone. Poor dog.

The dog went to the vet and was muzzled AND VACCINATED when it shouldn't have been due to infection.

Hi Cesar do you still help people?
I have a bully I recently took in he’s almost 2, but wasn’t told he’s territorial until he was with me in my house. I have 2 dogs already who one my female is kind of dog aggressive but calms down after she knows them, and my 4 yr old pit who is a talker but he got along with “brooks” bully first until he realized brooks is twice his size all of my dogs are pits and brooks is a bully breed.. we are the 3rd owner and the original owner paid 3,000 for him but the 2nd owner wanted him gone so bad he gave him to us for free with crate and all. I understand this probably is a huge change for brooks but he attached to my husband and doesn’t want anyone near his food, and growls when my dogs get close to his water bowl. He also almost hit someone’s hand and jumped up and knicked my husbands lip..
Yesterday may 21 he almost or lunged at me because I reached in his crate even though I made sure he knew I was there, I would love to keep him but his behavior idk if it can be changed, or he needs to be rehomed we’d hate to do that being he’s already been rehomed twice… he’s a beautiful bully (onmy video page)
He sits, crate trained, and does great in cars and side by sides, but chickens he was fine for the first week now out of the blue he’ll lunge at one so we are keeping him away from them now.
My other female dog is a senior and I hate stressing her out and I know he does but this is week 3 and need help if possible, he is neutered.
I’m in Lakeland Florida and would appreciate it if you can help or resources to help
Also my other male now cowers to brooks even though my male is older than him, brooks got the zoomies and my dog taz started out playing than it turned into a chase and tried to bite him.
I bet that young man needs dental care as well.

Take your dogs to the vet people, it ain’t that hard.
They sell dental bones and you can use a toothbrush on their teeth. Also don't just feed the dry kibble food. They sell higher quality food with better ingredients that the dogs will love. Even if you can only afford it a few times a week, it will be much healthier for your dog.
