I know this is an old video, but anyway: since you are sampling a raw waveform, why don't you just sample a single cycle and stretch it over the entire keyboard? Is there any advantage doing it this way?

Seems like a waste to just loop that tiny segment. The real life of analog gear is in the small variations found within a larger segment. You can see them clearly when looking at the waveform.
