Oh the Caddx Infra camera is significantly better at seeing in the dark than the Runcam night eagle, or just about any other 'night vision' fpv camera. Unlike other fpv cameras, the Infra sees in near infrared rather than normal light, that's what makes the difference
i was so into this until you went internal adding a battery etc, with a shovel or a hammer im like a human j.c.b. but as soon as delicate technical stuff rears its head im absolutely useless, id mess it up, but cheers MINT IDEA. so good i subd.cheers.
If you don't feel confident with taking the goggles apart, you could always just power the camera directly from a second battery or something. I just opted for the cleanest solution, but that doesn't mean there aren't other options 😊
In principle, yes, that would be easier. However in practice it's not really viable, unless you happen to have a second power cable going spare as well as a balance plug going spare that you could solder onto the end of it
Fantastic. l really appreciate you taking the time to do this. thank you very much!
This is why we're here in the comments section!! Thank you and more power to your channel!!
Thanks a bunch for the tutorial, dude! 😃
Merry Christmas!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I'll use my runcam nighteagle, but wireless. I don't like to disassemble my cobra x. Merry Christmas
Was shopping for NVG. Until I saw this. Thanks bro. You should add affiliate links to these items.
Amazing well done 👍 . how might this compare with the OG runcam night eagle camera?

If you have to plug the goggles into a 3S or 4S battery anyway, would it not be simpler to just power the camera from the battery’s balance lead?

@@gizfpv Thanks for the reply and the tutorial! Looking forward to seeing that plane too.
how is the latency
There isn't any noticeable latency that I can see
Don‘t you need a fan for the VTX?
@@AirPixNet It's not a VTX, it's just a image processor or something. It doesn't get hot
🙂
WooHoo, thank you!!
cool product. though I'd like to fly with it too.
That's very much my next goal now 😁
