- Unboxing of Fw190 A-8/R-2 Sturmbock Revell 1:32 03874.
The Focke Wulf 190 A-8 was a one-seated single-engine German fighter plane widely used during World War II. The production on the A-8 version was numerous and began in February 1944. The fighter was powered by a BMW 801 D-2 or 801Q engine. Different versions of Fw-109A-8 served also as experimental planes, i.e., to test tanks located on the top of the wings.
I can't wait to see you build this one. I've got the model myself. But I'm so nervous about building it. 😓
I have started already:). But no rushing it. I hope to post first part of the build in two weeks.
Why are you nervous? It looks a bit complicated, but so far I had no issues. The engine has nice details, so it can be super nice model in your collection :)
The detail in this kit is amazing. I am sure the rivet counters out there will be negative.
I do wish Revell would have brought the same detail to their new Spitfires and 109's.
Sturmbock- well named
That should be a fun model to build. Are you working on it side-by-side with your P-51D?
Yeah, this FW 190 is going to be my next build. Now, I'm trying to get the P-51D metalic colors look right:)
Showing us the box contents is not a review and certainly not an in depth review. You need to provide your opinion.
You are probably right. I've changed the title so noone else is missguided by it.
